I am ex athiest. I used to mock christians and say it was all just a fairy tale to help people die in peace. Until i overdosed and stood before Jesus. His face is as bright as the sun. I couldnt see any details of his face but i could see his arms were held out like to hug me and they were a dark tan color, not white or black. Which makes sence remembering he was born in the middle east desert!! When he held out his arms the light got brighter and i felt so much love and peace and raw power that i cant even find the right words to describe them. Jesus is God in the flesh. God is a trinity. All power the father has Jesus also has. He has existed with the father since before the earths creation.

I've recently returned to walking with The LORD having had backsliden. I felt I couldn't seek the Lord nor fellowship with the brethren because of my sin. ✝️ THE TRINITY DOCTRINE ERROR. ✝️ The Trinity Doctrine (as defined in the Nicean and Athanasius creeds 4th Century) states that God is 3 separate persons. 3 persons = 3 separate beings = 3 God's = Tritheism, and this is NOT biblical. The bible is strictly Monotheistic (Deuteronomy 6:4) and states that God is One Spiritual person and not three persons. The Biblical Trinity is ONE TRANSCENDENT DIVINE SPIRITUAL PERSON (GOD) manifest in 3 different "states of being" as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but all are still ONE SPIRITUAL person and not 3 as stated in the Athanasius Trinity Doctrine. ✝️ DEFINITIONS: BEING = defined as anything that exists or lives. PERSON = defined as any being that has its own center of consciousness and will, its own intelligence and personality (eg, human person "being" or spiritual person "being"). Therefore, a person is by default ALSO a being. So 3 PERSONS = 3 BEINGS = 3 GODS = Tritheism. This is not an accurate description of the "Biblical Trinity" which is strictly Monotheistic.I

Keep in mind that many if not most denominations consider rapture theology unbiblical. Dispensationalism was theorized in the 1800s by john nelson darby. The early church of course viewed christs return as 1 event. Studying other viewpoints is useful for becoming more sure in your convictions.

What was the decisive cause of your faith in Christ? The Calvinist says "The cause of my faith was Christ." The Arminian says "The cause of my faith in Christ was myself." There's way more to it than that (Depravity,Election,Atonement,New birth, perseverance,naming faith,etc), but the original question definitely identifies who is who. Both believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I don't believe either have lost salvation because of it.

Better explanation of the Trinity which is more accurate both biblically and scientifically is this in short: God is one- “Hear O Israel the Lord is One God” First Commandment, Thou shalt not have any other gods before me. Next, God’s Word doesn’t contradict God’s works. God’s word is special revelation and God’s works are general revelation. The heavens declare the Glory of God, etc… God is Light, God is white light, Matthew 17. God created Light, Genesis 1. Light when refracted through a prism or water vapor reveals the 6 or 7 colors of the rainbow. There are three primary colors, Red, Yellow, and Blue. All three colors are needed to create white light. Take away one color and white light is not possible but rather Orange, Green, and Violet is revealed. Jesus said in Matthew 28, In the Name, of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. One name, three persons. One light, three colors.

If there's any psychology at play, it wouldn't be to make up a god to give us meaning, it would be to deny that God exists in order to avoid having to face him someday and give an answer for what we've done in our lives. How a *calvinist* should approach a person with *his* “gospel”: "Hi! I have good news for you! I don't know if God loves you, the most likely is that He hates you. I also don't know if He died for you on the cross, only a very few were chosen… But Listen!" Sad but true! This is the false gospel that is being preached in many churches. Jesus was dealing with two questions. When will these things happen (1) the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem) and (2) the sign of his coming and the end of the age. I personally believe that when Jesus says “ this generation will not pass away until all this is fulfilled “ he meant that statement to be in reference to the second question. So when a tribulation takes place, there will be immediately signs in the sun, moon and stars. Then they will see the sign of Christs 24:03 coming- Jesus himself in the clouds! That is the end of the age.
