Fired many rockets out of these. Happy to see they're being put to good use. Sucks that the Corps got rid of us and replaced us with engineers. Many times they were attached to us we had to take over because they'd fall out or they didn't know how to use the SMAW or the APOB so we had to teach how to use em. Pretty cool to see it being used for indirect fire, not so much from indoors. I wonder if the Ukrainians are using the spotting rifle? It'd be nice to talk to some of these guys and find out how they are implementing them.

It can only see straight. From sides and rear totally blind. I doubt very much if the heat and thermic sensors work (if it has😂) with all that metal arround the tank! Next we will see russian soldiers inside metal boxes running🤣🤣🤣

Use to play with them as a kid. The bullets were cheap and they are a powerful rifle. I’d rather shoot those then the AR15 round in warfare the SLR is lethal to a mile. But with modern body armour on the battlefield I’d use a 50cal it has more chance of wounding someone even if it misses.

By dint of recovering equipment from all countries, the bill will be steep in the end and given the GDP of Ukraine as well as the embezzlement of funds by the politicians of this country Ukraine already belongs to Europe and the USA

thing about putting a shell like that on the tank is it limits the degree the cannon can swivel

Why would Ukraine resort to making homemade devices, aren’t we (united states) sending them all this money and actual weapons? What did we forget about the grenades ?? Or is this country just so currupt that the soldiers are not getting everything we send them?? Cartels in mex are though

Great video though I love the editing and content, just wrong info in my opinion

The adapter makes little sense, it needs to be a full bore shotgun shell with large spread so its a pretty much guaranteed hit. Follow up shots with this are pretty much not possible so you have to hit with one shot and a regular shotgun shell might just be not enough, at least spread wise. Essentially you need someone who can also shoot clay pidgeons pretty well.

Recently a number of assault rifles and a few hundred sniper rifles that are apparently popular in sport shooting (and a bit on the expensive side at $10k without any optic) from the small weapon maker Hanael have been delivered. The company goes back to the 19th century and produced for example the Sturmgewehr 44. From the government log: 1.525 Sturmgewehre MK 556 145 Präzisionsgewehre HLR 338 mit 60.000 Schuss Munition* (fires non-standard Lapua Mag.) 231 Gewehre CR 308 (sniper rifle) In preparation: 3.475 Sturmgewehre MK 556* 619 CR 308 7,7 Millionen Schuss Handwaffenmunition* 8.000 Panzerrichtabwehrminen PARM (the newly produced off-road mines from the 80s) 355 Präzisionsgewehre HLR 338 mit 9,9 Mio. Schuss Munition 15.000 Panzerabwehrhandwaffen (hand held AT weapon, the generic description is strange, I'd guess those are neither Panzerfaust-3, nor RGW90 or other MATADOR models. Scholz recently spoke of globally sourcing weapons for Ukraine, so hopefully those are Israeli Spike, since the description stresses "handheld" I'd guess Spike SR which still feature 1.5km range and a top-attack mode similar to the Javelin) They also kept delivering 40mm ammunition for the GMW machine grenade launcher. As of now 282,000 rounds for 100 Granatmaschinenwaffe GMW

Something that I think about looking at the design of these cages, is how difficult they must make crew escape. Russian tanks aren't exactly famed for fantastic crew preservation, but if the tank is on fire at the front it looks like you are mostly trapped and awaiting being cooked. Obviously this isn't even thinking about having a ~45 degree cone of vision out of the direct front of the tank only. I think that 'innovations' like this would go a long way to making crew preservation in an already strained recruitment system sooo much worse. This is purely my thoughts, but I imagine the crews that would engage in crew modifications like this are probably on the more veteran side too (in the video early on, we heard that those were guards tankers, who are meant to be significantly better trained).

The idea this rifle beat those other rifles which included the Sig Spear and HK416 is laughable. This junk is not inservice with any other Nation. Its less accurate, less stopping power and shorter ranged than the SA80A3. Its sound moderator is half as effective as any other Sound moderator used in NATO. Its junk

Jammers will be rendered useless soon, as automating drone to find way to the tank from visible distance is quite easy nowadays with cheaper cost for computer vision.
