Watching you remeasure the battery voltage after you replaced the alternator... with the engine making the noise it was making and you not seeming to care / notice was painful.

Could I suggest not using a 90-degree bend on the door tracks, but instead angling them up parallel to the roof and tucked up against it? You can get those bends in a few different angles, or just cut one to the bend you need and drill new holes for attaching the rest of the track. I've seen that done to increase headroom with the door open, for lifts and such - which I'm sure you'd love to install. Also, those springs *can* be dangerous, yes, but just be careful. I've replaced mine twice in 25 years (bought better springs the second time...)

LMAO I bought multiple cars from junkyards and had them for years. I still have one that I bought in 2006. It's also a Hyundai

See now, even though you paid $3,000 altogether for the car. You now know the engine runs well the brakes are good and the frame is straight except the mis-matched color on the body panels lol That'll buff out 🤣

I think my very first step would have been to make sure it had oil and coolant, then fresh fuel. And I would have been very wary of leaks because fire is bad. But that's just me being logical.

Remeber it's not just the expenise of items, but the time an effort it take to get it done. That also costs money. He actually spent more than $3,000.

This video was excellent, funny and informative, hats off to you Sir. The 'Coupe S111' as its know over here in the UK is a much underrated car. I've had mine since 2015 and I love her, she's reliable, good on fuel, fairly fast, has all the bells and whistles you could ever want, has TARDIS sized boot (trunk) and looks drop dead gorgeous. It can have rust issues, as most Asian cars do, but it's cheap to fix. It's the poor man's Ferrari in looks but delivers as a lot have asked what the car is and are shocked when they see its Hyundai. So so sad they never continued with it but instead went with the Genesis brand and completely dropped the sports coupe type.

This video is bizarre, because this scenario is EXACTLY what happened to me, only, with great results at the end, purely by accident, and due to the bizarre car market fluctuations since the pandemic... Anyway, I got a 2006 Acura RSX Type S(not the one in my pfp, and I own 2 other RSX's) from copart right before the pandemic for $800... Same exact issues as the Tiburon. Front passenger-side collision. Needed some frame work, all new suspension bushings, passenger tie rod and lower control arm. Well anyway, I ended up sitting on the car for 4 years because I wasnt willing to pay the insane costs of paint and body work during the pandemic. So I slowly assembled the new front bumper, hood, front quarter from parted out cars on FB marketplace(which was much harder to do than I thought due to the rarity of these cars and the color my car was)... Anyway, 6 months ago, I finally got everything together, and the car was literally in perfect condition. Body was perfect, frame was perfect, suspension, drivetrain, even the interior was mint. Engine and transmission was all original and had only 70,000 miles on them... Turns out, these cars were selling for $13,000-16,000 now(with 60-80k miles on them)....... I was blown away. Even though I own multiple RSX's, I had not been keeping up with the car market at all, and I couldnt believe these cars had almost DOUBLED in price... Using the wayback machine, these cars were selling for around 6-8k in 2019 even with lower miles on average. I was into the car about $3,900. I ended up selling the car for $13,500. Man I wish I had bought like 5 of them in 2019!!!
