Manus drops 30,000 souls because of a setting in the DS/DSR Randomizer setup that lets you adjust how many souls normal enemies replaced with bosses will drop. It's set to 50% by default.

i dont wanna bitch about it, but technically manus catalyst is better for this. they both increase all sorcery power, halve the spell castings, but manus has a not mentioned secret effect where it boosts dark sorceriess. great video tho lmao this shit is insane
