OOOHHHH, I love you soooooo much Pauly!!!! Besides some vintage Black Sabbath, my all-time favorite band, there isn't anything like the first two Iron Maiden albums! Yeah, Bruce is great in his own right, but those first two albums are almost incomparable! The only place that you can dream....

I love IM across their entire recording history but for me nobody can sing the songs from the first 2 LP’s and even come close to Paul’s delivery. I really don’t enjoy listening to Dickinson sing these songs. The concert versions of Iron Maiden and Running Free by Dickinson are ear scratchingly horrible. That said I love him in NoB and Piece of Mind, etc, etc. I only wish Paul could come back to sing the older songs with the band one day…

Anybody think this guy can’t sing should just listen to this. Grew up with this song and that voice. Loved the feel even then and recognized the great atmosphere and pacing. This song is unlike anything else the band ever did. Apparently Harris may have gotten high or something according to Paul. Certainly is trippy. Masterpiece really, glad to see so many others appreciate it. For all their later accomplishments the early maiden will always hold a special place in my heart. In fact if I could only keep a handful of albums the two first one would definitely have to be included along with the first four with Bruce. After that I’d have heard enough. They can never best that.
