This is great. I really wish they would make a Friday tv anthology series with each episode starting around a campfire and people telling stories of Jason. Like Gotham night/are you afraid of the dark. This could easily be the pilot episode. So much could be done with that. Different Jason every time. And Different Jason's means plenty of Jason action figures. Hell they could even do 8 bit Jason. Who cares. Best thing about anthology is, if one episode sucks, next one may be better. I'd call it, Campfire tales.

Well if you remember from the end credits of the film we got to see Ryan AKA hiker man 5000 and according to him he was going to pick up where Kyle left off on the KZfaq channel that ending seems to imply that will possibly get another film in the never hike trilogy now is that true?

I’ll fuck around and get an Oscar. These fan films have SO much potential and they just get ruined by terrible continuity errors, bad acting and dumb plots.

Rick Cologne was locked in a jail cell during the events of part 6 and has never in his life been shown any physical evidence of the existence of the Undead Jason Voorhees. All Rick has is the word of Tommy, Megan, and a bunch of children. At the end of parts 6, 7, and 8, Jason's body is never recovered by the authorities. It was Rick's blind hatred of Tommy that kept him from following up on Tommy's claims about Jason being responsible for the people who go missing in the forest. This is Rick's main character flaw, his blind hatred toward Tommy get in the way of being able to apply logic. Rick believes Tommy is crazy and the one ultimately responsible for everything that has happened since Tommy stormed into the Sheriff's Station all those nights ago. In a way, Rick is not wrong. Even Tommy carries this hard truth around on his conscious. Ricks goal is to crack the case, arrest Tommy, and be hailed a hero for solving a series of crimes that have spanned two decades. Unfortunately, Rick's hatred toward Tommy was his curse. It isn't until Rick sees Jason with his own two eyes for him to understand that Tommy is telling the truth and overcome this fatal flaw and key component in Jason being able to remain hidden all these years. The theme of the film is Never Hike Alone aka until the characters all work together, Jason will never be defeated. Only by the group working together are the final four characters able to put Jason to rest once and for all. Unfortunately for Rick, it cost him his life - but - he does fulfill his goal of becoming a local hero. Something he felt Tommy robbed from him in Part VI. But by all means, good luck with crowdfunding whatever brilliant story you have that tops that.

It was really great to see you interview the director of my favorite Friday the 13th movie! My parents had a pirated copy from their friends' video place. I used to make popcorn on the stove and settle down to watch it with my siblings.
