fun fact! when Acid Bath played live shows, Dax would put a hand in his pocket while he’d scream. he did this to not have jarring movements or look uncomfortable while performing. it makes sense because when your mouth screams the rest of your body does too, and it can be hard to control. and it worked because it gave him more control therefore better focus on performing.

This has to be one of my favorite, songs and albums. Live sounds even, better!! The riffs vocals ,screams growls are all tuned and mixed so perfectly. it seems impossible anyone could be that good!

I'll never forget hearing them on a college radio station that we could barely pick up in rural Vermont and the music stuck with me. Venus blue was the song and it changed me right then and there. I never looked at music the same way and this was before korn even.
