in the drive barrel there are holes of compartment for VACUMM, and for AIR BLOW.... but looks like the snap blow is less pressure... not all sludge was removed after the blow ... FORMING ZONE, DRYING ZONE and SNAP BLOW

@@medilax91 I work at PT Freeport Indonesia and at Freeport I also use a drying process using a disc filter. I usually take care of and replace leaking disc filter cloths.

Paul, I would like to thank you for this "disc filter" video series. I'm a computer graphics artist and I'm working on one with almost no reference from the customer. These videos helped me a lot in understanding the machine's work process. Once again, thank you and keep up with this kinda work. Helps a lot!
