I haven't watch this show but seems wonderful. Anne of green Gables has been the joy of my life. A friend of mine who's been living in the US lend me the books years ago and love it ever since. this particular scene capture that moment Anne's cow ruining Mr. Harrison fields. she thought that cow was hers and sold it, turn out it was actually Mr. Harrison's 😅

I absolutely adore the fact that Sara always helped Felicity even when Felicity was more childish than Sara.

I really like this part of the series because Katherine ("spelled with a K") really opens up and ends up making her dreams come true. It's incredible what a summer of rest and soul searching can do. I wish all of you the chance to do the same this summer. In these strange and difficult times, we can probably all use time to think, dream, plan, and get to know our better selves again

I just watched the trilogy, loved these movies, so wholesome 🥰 Would have loved to see more of Anne and Gilberts family life after the war and them staying on Green Gables instead. Haha it's so funny that in the second movie they did a mary queen of scotts play and then later in real life Megan plays Catherine in Reign. Brilliant performance, so amusing. It's so noteable how much her voice changes from girl to woman. I'm now 28 and I don't feel like my voice is that much different, perhaps it's just something that goes unnoticed.

OMG. I cried for a full 30 minutes when I first watched this scene! Matthew dying tore my heart out. He did love his little girl so. And Anne loved him too!

I imagine Marilla felt a bit of shame when she thought Anne was "swanning around," but Anne just couldn't wait to show Matthew her appreciation.
I absolutely loved road to avonlea. I wish they would put it on for free again.. some people just can't afford to pay.❤💯🙏

The best books ever. Thank you Lucy Maude Montgomery. I was afraid to watch the series because the books were so perfect but it too was perfect. Beautifully acted. Perfect!

This core childhood classic still keeps giving. I had no idea that is Schuyler Grant. Very respected in our yoga community.

Truly the most wonderful casting decision in book-to-screen history. She was Anne Shirley to me cause she really embodied all the wonderful things about her in the book.

This is the definitive version of 'Anne of Green Gables'. Great adaptation of the text, beautiful cinematography, & a cast of rare talent--all the characters are so finely etched. There's something special about the tone as well: this adaptation captures the magic of human kindness & decency, without being maudlin or saccharine.
