Nice setup mine is similar except for height adjustment, I use a retractable ratchet strap with a carabiner on each side. I have pretty high ceilings and lil nephews training on the bag so this works well and keeps it quiet for me while allowing verticality. edit: I used painted quicklinks before which are also pretty good. 1-3 coats of whatever paint you have lying around should deaden the metal rattling to a degree but expect paint chips if it isnt clear coat.

I just got the same boat ! How do you drain the fish boxes?
@dwayneroberts6616
@dwayneroberts6616 14 күн бұрын
Your fish boxes drain into a plastic box with a bilge pump in it. Hoses go from the locker to the bilge box. Theres a bilge in the front of the boat as well. Should have 3 bilge pumps. I ❤ Bayliner Trophies I have a 1996 19' CC trophy pro 1903. Going to finish restoring it and put it up for sale while we use it. I want a Trophy 2002 model. Same as your boat but a lot less amenities and 20' I can't afford anything bigger and I want to trailer it comfortably up to 500 mls to the Florida Key's.

Did you use wheel spacers on the rear to make it even with the fronts if so what size did you get and was it the slide on hub centric spacers or the bolt on ?

Bought my son an '07 gt/cs and someone had already pulled the vinyl material off the panels completely. Been off so long no foam or glue was left, just rough surface. I didn't want to spend the big bucks so instead of ordering solid overlays, I ordered "material" that was supposed to be exact fit to reglue to the panel. We pulled the panels off and right away seen the material was overcut a lot. I had to use an xacto knife and scissors to cut and trim ea piece. What a pain. Took over 2 hrs per panel to trim, tape, and lay down. Most people wouldn't even attempt to replace the material. You can't even tell it's been fixed though. But for diy'ers or beginners, I would not recommend the way I did it.

Thanks for the video man, that's a sweet boat. I'm checking out videos on these Trophy boats and you have a great in depth video of it. I want to trade my 2020 Weldcraft 18ft for something just like you have. The decal removed and the polishing really made that boat look good. Bounus points for us graduating in the same year '98. Hope the boat is still doing good for you.

I'm planning to get the 16vs, I'm seeing them running for around 280, if I find a good deal on a 30vse I'm picking that up, on my 16 I'm probably going to go straight 50-60 mono, might do like 80-100 braid, idk yet, I think I'm gonna get a Penn rampage rod, roller tip and bottom, should end up being about 400-450 down into the setup, should be a great budget setup

@@BassinWCoast I just install the trolling motor but I’m not sure how to hook up the batteries do they connect to the main batteries or is it a separate system?
@BassinWCoast
@BassinWCoast Жыл бұрын
@tunatales4309 Yes, hook up the tmotor directly to the batteries. Look up how to group 24V/36V batteries on KZfaq. For example you have 3 batteries lined up next to each other, you would take the positive of the 1st battery and the negative of the 3rd battery and in between the 3 would be connected w each other to make 36 volts. There's plenty of video on YT. But that's how you generate higher volts ⚡️
