Has to be lip syncing. I mean, there are times that he’s not holding the microphone even close to his mouth. The mic wouldn’t pic up his voice when held away from his mouth. If it did, the sound wouldn’t be as loud. The mic constantly kept the same sound when he would hold it away from his mouth.

I want to tell you something I'm 68 years old when I heard this record for the very first time I fell in love with it you got to be there and you got to listen to these guys for the very first time use kids were fantastic back in the day and they still are every time I hear this song I share it why you got to listen to the lyrics if you don't you don't understand the song most of you don't know this I was with the Michigan Jaycees I did a lot of Jerry Lewis for MDA I'll tell you what these kids are a lot of money in for Jerry and I still really appreciate it just listen to the song mostly young people on here right now you say it's lame you got to live back in my day you wouldn't say that
