As an asian, gamine is the closest description to how I look, but it is still not exactly the same. I couldn’t be called soft nor flamboyant as I feel like a combination of both.

I don’t know if i am a soft summer or true summer. I just don’t look so bad in autumn colors. Can i get a hint from that? Neutral-warm colors aren’t awful on me

I still find the color system so confusing. I’m rather obviously a soft summer, but don’t look good in most soft summer colors (the neutrals look good, the colors wash me out). These true summer colors look better on me, especially all the denim blue tones.

Color is not something static, so it's just obvious that you will shift within the color spectrum. It actually is a big rarity when people fit into only 1 color palette. I will explain that soon in much detail.

Thank you for your video. I am still a little confused as to which season I am, but I have come to terms with the idea that maybe it is not an easy and quick find. I look better with gold jewelry over silver so I think I am warm toned. However, I am olive undertone and dark medium skin over all and finding foundation neutral works better than warm. With my dark natural black brown hair and eyes, I would think dark autumn. But my skin gets dull and the darkness around my eyes become noticeable when I wear some of the dark autumn palette colors like dark greens and burgundy near my face. Muted color tops look better. So I tend to stick to ivory, cream, tops if I wear dark skirts because it seems I still need contrast. I look dead if I wear gray. So olive and army greens have been my go to. Bright colors are to too bright and dark colors seem too dark except for certain browns.

@FilosoFashion thank you. I wondered about that. I guess what threw me off is how dark my hair and eyes are and how much contrast it makes with my skin, and so I thought dark autumn. However, dark colors are too dark at times, bringing out dark circles and dulling my skin. I guess I was wondering if one who had hair and eyes as dark as I do, and darkness was too much, could be soft or muted even though most would not include dark brown black hair and eyes in the signs of soft autumn. Is it because of my skin tone (medium olive slightly toward dark, I am Latina)? Could it really affect more than I thought and maybe somewhat mutes me overall even with the hair? In an other video, you mentioned that maybe essences could play a part. Though I have dark features (hair and eyes) I am a soft classic with a bit of ingenue essence. Could that play a part in why dark colors overpower me at times? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the video. I'm still a bit confused. I thought I thought I was a dark autumn because I have dark brown black eyes and hair. But it's my skin that throws me off. I'm have darker medium olive skin. In natural light when I drape dark autumn colors some of them make my skin look dull. Too bright a color and it over powers me. I do have warm skin so I know cool tone color wash me out too. I can where certain tones of yellow and orange so I still think I'm an autumn. Black is a bit harsh on me. 😂 just confused

based on this video i think i’ve decided i’m a combination of dark autumn and soft autumn. i never realized you could be two types at once and that makes total sense to me now!! i think i lean more soft autumn because i don’t have a super high contrast in my futures, but i’m also a soft dramatic body type so i’m able to pull off warm jewel tones and black

What I find depressing is how the romantic is basically the only acceptable "woman" type. Everything else makes you a lesser woman, both in body or character, as you mentioned. The rest are doomed to always be lesser women and never the ideal type. You'll always be left for a romantic if you're not ... ⚰️ ⚰️

Yes! I am neutral. Shaded soft summer, I think. My best metal is pewter, secondly champagne gold (both dull rather than bright and shiny), skin leans slightly cool - lipsticks need a mauve cast but eyes are green and gold so mossy grayish green is good rather than emerald tones. Almost any colour near the middle (no extremes of cool or warm, light, bright) is okay as long as it is MUTED. I don't wear yellow, orange not great either. I still like black but can see it is probably not the best.

Aritzia is definitely for tall narrow vertical people. The clothes are beautiful but not one thing would fit my 5’2” Kibbe romantic body. It makes me sad! Most companies that sell quality basics sell them in vertical rectangle shapes for long tall people. And petite clothes are always designed for gamines. It’s so hard to shop, when you are shaped like a snowman!

Very interesting. I don’t fit perfectly into either Deep Autumn or Deep Winter. I think I can fit a little better into DA, but I can’t wear olive or warm greens, even though I have olive in my dark hazel eyes. Yet, I need warmth in my yellows. Also, your comments about aging are helpful. I’m now 77 and have been trying to figure out why I need slightly more muting. I still have dark hair and very light skin. I’ve lightening my hair somewhat. So now I better understand.i will check to see if you have a playlist for color palettes and aging.

I'd like people to talk about when red leaning colours are best. I look best in warm colours, but not yellow based. My best metals are anything aged or any copper/rose gold. This doesn't seem to exist as a season.

Can I be a Deep-Soft Autumn, as in, Soft Autumn Pallet, but just the deep colours. My dominant feature is soft (I cant where shiny or bright things) followed by deep (regardless of colour deeper looks better against my no-makeup face. And then warm leaning, but red over yellow undertone look best (i have pale yellow-olive so i think it tones down the yellow whereas yellow based warm colours are too warm for me.

Interesting. I feel my face changes colors with every color. But the rest of my body remains even. 🤨 I was classified as dark winter but I feel that it only looks good in nighttime. Not during daytime.
