Love the 365. Bought it new in 2023. Just noticed, after one year, the front sight is dead. Sig stated their sights are warrantied for (5) years. They sent a prepaid label to ship back the slide to replace the front sight. Hopefully the replacement will last longer.

Interesting and honest video. Very helpful. This video helps people select their EDC. And that saves lives. Thank you, sir.

In the pic of the original firing pin next to the improved one, you can see the wider, tapered, base of the improved one. Much stronger profile.

Thanks for making this video. One thing would have helped make it better. When you showed what and where you polished, you didn't hold the part still for a second. If you had held each polished surface still for just 10 seconds, it would have been much easier to see where the polishing was done.

For everyone saying they get light primer strikes. First make sure you didn't put your hammer spring in upside down. If that's good then just get an enhanced firing pin instead of using a milspec hammer spring and defeating the whole purpose. With these lighter springs and an enhanced firing pin you should have no problems even running the cheap steel ammo.

Just got one and put 200 rounds through it today. 150 rounds of Federal steel case and 50 rounds of Hornaday self defense. Zero malfunctions and very accurate! I had trouble at first finding the right grip but after adjusting it was fabulous to shoot! Great little self defense tool, smaller and higher round capacity than the Glock 43 I've had for years! Good video brother!

For an additional $400 the Cronus is Japanese glass compared to Chinese, and for $400 LESS the Midas Tac is the exact same scope without the illuminated reticle. I LOVE ATHLON (I just upgraded from the Midas to the Cronus) but I think this Eres is one Athlon scope NOT to buy (unless you NEED illuminated reticle) otherwise I'd save a few bucks and go for the Midas or spend more for the Cronus. **The Eres is the homerun as far as the spotting scope though I'd LOVE to see Athlon come out with a $2,500-3,000 scope to compete with Nightforce, Valdada, Zeiss, etc. I doubt it could outshine the Zcomp but I'd love to see Athlon go out ALL OUT and drop a HIGH HIGH HIGH end optic!!

Some Athlons are great specifically their Midas line and above. What I really don't like about Athlon is they as a company are so chinsy, they don't even include scope lens caps and sunshades for their higher end scopes that you pay a lot of money for.
@KevinWood44
@KevinWood44 Жыл бұрын
@@commonsense5709 I very much agree with that. Every scope company should include a sunshade, a throw lever and some kind of scope caps with any scope above $600-$700. You do not have to include Tenebraex scope covers but something should be thrown in. Especially by Athlon bc they have a lifetime warranty. What is cheaper scope caps or replacing the entire scope?

The midas line has less image quality when compared to the Ares ETR Uhd. Everything else, including the stainless steel turret internals, are the same. 30mm vs 34mm with the ares etr

i agree with the comments on the angle at witch the trigger pull is tested. stock was pulled straight back. polished was pulled at 20 degrees. springs installed was pulled at 45 degree angle. the angle affects the effective rate of a spring. this will not be anywhere near the 3 pound pull at straight back. :(

I changed out the springs in the mil spec fire control group of my PSA AR 15 lower and replaced them with the jp enterprises Enhanced Reliability AR Fire Control Spring Set JPS3.5T. Haven't checked the pull weight for lack of a device to do so.However it has been noticeably reduced from the mil spec pull weight. I also did a polish job on all the sear surfaces Pryor to this installation which also yielded noticeable improvement with eliminating grittiness and giving a clean break. The issue I'm experiencing is light primer strikes on rimfire with a dedicated PSA 22 lr upper. NO problems with 223 and 9mm. Im looking for some experience or perspective on whether not I could just reinstall the mil spec hammer spring to increase strike power and leave in the JP trigger spring to maintain reduced weight of pull.

Will this kit decrease the hammer strike too?
@tedlofland3446
@tedlofland3446 11 ай бұрын
The trigger spring and hammer spring work independently from each other. I think the hammer spring in this kit is slightly LESS stronger. If using this spring kit with a mil-spec trigger group I would use a mil-spec hammer spring for an AR-15 chambered in 223/556. I put a heavier hammer spring and lighter trigger spring in my AR 15 chambered in 7.62 x 39 with an enhanced firing pin for steel cased ammo which often has harder primers.

Which would you choose of this scope or an Delta Oticals Javelin 4,5-30x56?
@commonsense5709
@commonsense5709 Жыл бұрын
They are basically the same scope made in the same Chinese factory. But the Athlom if you live in the USA or Canada you get a lifetime warranty for Athlon scopes vs only 10 years warranty that is non transferable for the Delta Optics scopes. If you live outside the USA or Canada you're probably better off buying the Delta.

Very effective and affordable modification. IMO sand paper is not a recommended method as most people are not able to keep from altering surrounding edges/surfaces when hand sanding. Mothers polish and a dremel or drill that has a polisher tip will be much easier to control and more effective in providing a uniform finish. Glass sheen and almost as clean, break.

It's 12/30/2021 my Sig has a date of 8/17/2021 the only issue is with steel case ammo shoots some but my Grandson has a Cinik and it won't shoot steel at all but cycles all brass ammo fine FMJ Hollow points and always look at as many spent shell casings that I can and so far, perfect circle no striker drags I will say that it does need some breaking in especially the magazines leave them loaded with 10 rounds at all times mine are a lot easier to load now over all I love the gun it's a good shooting gun far less recoil than expected I highly recommend.
