I don’t understand why skidoo hasn’t done recalls on the chain case and reed issues. I know a ton of people here in north Utah that have had sleds broken all winter Love your channel

They did recalls on the chaincase. The reeds aren’t really an issue. This is the first time I’ve prematurely blown them

You could bring the mxz up to bc, then use it for the local races in the cariboo region.
That sunset! And still no avy training talk. But that angle of the sunset!

why is nobody doing an entry level trail sled segment? i don't want to get into sledding on the biggest, baddest machine.i just want an affordable trail runner that i can learn on,but i can't find fuck all online about them.

The Polaris boost will always be faster than the comp R. They were a complete faikure… the water bullshit is garbage, he clutching we terrible and they are way to heavy and high in the front to have a nice top speed. They are only made for 0-100 fast trail riding. Stock 2017 mxz 850 destroys my buddies comp r lol..

In the late 1990s an Arctic Cat engineer took a ZR sled, cut it down the middle narrowing it quite a bit and made the first Firecat prototype.😬

An easy but costly weight saving mod is to go full on titanium pipes and can. Consider air shocks all around. If you talk with some of the guys that run this years air shocks you can get a feel of how well others like em. I know some say those are now possible to use even for heavy usage, due to weight benefits are more important then shock performance. I you don't plan to do big drops it might work well for you. Carbon fiber fuel tank as well as carbon hood and side panels will also save you a lot of weight. To be brutal, I don't think the lightweight game is possible without sinking in hard cash into custom lightweight parts. Sure it costs a few bucks, but this lightweight sled is not a sled you will sell by the end of season to build a new next year. This will be you secret weapon sled. That come out to play when conditions calls for it. And you can easily get 3-4 seasons of riding or even more out of it as secondary sled or even your third choice sled. Just bite the bullet and man up for the cost, I know you will enjoy it every time you use it. Maybe a little tune up for the motor as well while you're at it? And I guess as a youtuber you get to to put the expenses of the build as a tax write off? Maybe you can get a sponsor or two to help fund the custom lightweight parts?
