The Pirate Warriors series is my favorite by far. And I'm speaking as an average (or less than that) One Piece fan. Phantom Strikers is also really amazing. I also tried a more traditional one like Samurai Warriors 5, but the anime style ones are my favourite. They usually bring color to the genre and put to work existing great worlds, such as the great Ninja Impact from Naruto and Hyrule Warriors. Man... There are so many possibilities for musou games. I'd like to see a Bleach one and I'm not even a Bleach fan. I really hope people start to appreciate it more and we start to get more musou games instead of boring arena fighters. We have disappointing one as the Berserk musou game, but when they do it right, bro, they hit hard. Another mention here: SD Gundam

Treasure Log in One Piece Warriors 3 is even better. It's a board-game like map with different conditions.

Precure Musou. Seriously. Or Sailor Moon musou at least XD Also would love crossover with Banpresto's Super Robot Taisen, would love Super Robot Taisen Musou.

I live not far from Baltimore and back then and now the city was almost exactly like the wire. Yeah they have a lot of dramatic effects but Baltimore was and still is the wild west. Drugs, corruption, and money.

Thank you for praising musou games! I find myself coming back to FE Warriors over and over. I love the multitasking and real-time strategy playstyle. It's so satisfying to direct the characters around the map while also being able to do the hacking and slashing. You explain the merits of these games and why they're awesome eloquently. This video embodies everything I loved about Ragnarok (that it enriches the characters and especially the 2018 and original games) which was more or less a an overall disappointing game as a long time fan of the franchise.

I think my favorite part is that it actually isn't a prophecy, it's faye's belief in kratos, literally painted over the actual prophecy, who gives a shit what reason it is that you can defy fate, the reality is that it was a bleak, terrible end for a man that faye loved, and she refused to believe it, just as kratos eventually rejects it completely. He chooses to be what faye saw in him, not what the future foretold for him, and it's beautiful. He becomes the best version of himself, that for the longest time he could never have imagined, but it's the version of him that faye and atreus see, just about every time they look at him. It truly is a redemption, not because his failures or crimes are forgiven, but because he takes the lessons to be learned from them and actually tries to do better than he did.

I think the baserk game had the least amount of characters.

I wish musou games would make enemy and ally units more aggressive and emphisives the strategy aspect more.

My first musou game was Hyrule warriors on the wii u. I am a huge zelda fan so of course i bought it… and fell instantly in love with it. It made me a fan of this type of game. To be honest, in my life, i didn’t got the time to play many musou games but i like pretty much all the ones that I was able to play. Also, those games can be really long especially when you are me that want to do everything or almost everything. I have played hyrule warriors definitive edition on my switch for i guess 200 hours and it still feel like I am not even at the halfway point. Help !

They tried branching out a couple times with western themes but if they went all in on a fantasy/ Medieval setting. Something along the lines of LoTR or D&D. It would be really really cool imo.
