how do you add a scratching bit
@PortablismMadrid

There are several ways. Some people use Tablebeats (iOS only at the moment), but we use the app tablist.net. However, you can use the weblooper in the website (URL = name of the app), or mylooper.com, or loopercloud.com, etc. Use a phone or tablet, plug a minijack-minijack cable from it to the portable (or use bluetooth if the portable supports it) and _voilà_

In the description 👍 it's a loop (beat) of that looper. We use the tablist.net app, but you have it on weblooper version as well

stab
@PortablismMadrid
@PortablismMadrid Ай бұрын
I would say that the stab starts with closed fader and it's always fast (like a real stab). The forward can be done at any speed and it begins with open fader. And the stab can be classified as a "normal" scratch type (not a "brick" for complex ones like these ones). Cheers, Bronxio

I mastered scratching with this thing. went through three of them, the cord input is cheap. spinning 12" on this makes you push it forward just a tiny bit to keep the speed, when you do that day after day you develop an insane sense for how to move on a real table. I bought a pioneer plx-crss1200 after my last one broke.

@@PortablismMadrid Ah ok you provide AC by Bluetti. The poor solution should be a car battery with a 30€ 300w Green Cell or similar ;). NIce contents btw, happy scratching 🤟

Dope! Greetings from Japan. If I may ask, what power generator are you using for your QFO? I have a QFO as well but haven't tried spinning outdoors because I don't have a power supply. Bless up and much respect.

Hello! We used a portable inverter (with battery inside). Here you have a photo 👇 Instagram (last pic): instagram.com/p/C6I-_n_MpMA/?img_index=4 Mega (full resolution, may be erased later): mega.nz/file/w7kXCIQI#30aYmflPNpeHxCs3-QcWexmpBo8o7xLxcJnFYxaPxUo This model is so powerful (600W), but no need to be that high. The QFO needs 15W. It's good to have a more powerful power source for security and just in case you plug more devices at the same time, but if there is a model of 300W, should be great as well. Important note: The QFO's owner installed an Innofader Pro2 first and worked great indoors. But with this inverter it didn't close sound! One of us deduced it was some problem with electromagnetic fields, so recommended to install a Pro X Fade instead (conductive plastic, contact fader). The owner installed a second hand one and no problem with the inverter, as you can notice in the videos 👌 Cheers!

@@PortablismMadrid Thank you for your reply. I'll try to find a suitable power generator. It's good to know about the faders, too. I'll ask Elliot Marx of Innofader about it. My QFO black LE has an Inno Pro2 but my silver QFO has a ProXFade so that should be good. Kanpai to you and your crew!
