Why puck the marigold heads? Genuinely asking.

Plucking the heads encourages further growth. Then, we take them and put them in our salads. ♥

We started yesterday. Canned 14 pints corn and dehydrated kale. Today is peaches and tomorrow is canning beef chunks. My budget is my guide. We are just preserving what we get from our farm share each week and meat that we have in the freezer.

Thank you for sharing 😊 I would love to know if it was regular strombolli or some modification ( sourdough?)

We used our pizza dough, which is sourdough. However, we've made stromboli many times with regular pizza dough - homemade and store-bought. ♥

We store ours in the pantry for up to 18 months. If they don’t seal, they need to be put in the fridge and used within a week. ❤️

You are our neighbor! We get cucumbers all summer, but they are planted near a tree line for shade. If you are zone 8, you should still be able to replant.

This is my first time to your channel, I’m a mom of two. My toddler saw your video as I was scrolling through suggested videos. He said he wanted to watch those kids on the farm. We live in the suburbs, it was really good for him to see other kids working and helping the family out. Cool video, keep up the good work!

We are also focused on permaculture and the mushrooms are a great sign. Unless they are growing around a citrus tree - then I believe it could be a sign of disease. ♥
