Thanks for the video. The difference between diatomaceous earth and sand is not in the silica content it's the fact that is is very fine dust very easily airborne that you breath.

Thanks a lot bro. This is really awesome. What are your humidity and temperature settings for day 1-18 as well as for lockdown?

The bowl looked good before you cut it and I love the accidental folds. Never get the need for symmetry and "perfection"

Holy cow! People really "went off" on the whole lock washer thing. I found the video (although an older post) to be very helpful overall, and I appreciate the effort from this guy. It's a pain in the ass to film while you're working/building. Good job buddy! Question please do u still have it and if yes - did u ever have to change that sloppy nut? Or did u just leave it alone. Thanks man.

Thanks for this information. I have a Bauer 16" chainsaw where the 4 1/4" plastic gear has lost all it;s teeth too. But where to find a replacement? I've looked everywhere and called HF. Would you know where to get Bauer parts or who the manufacture is so I can contact them directly. The motor and everything else if fine. I'd hate to throw away the saw for a $10 gear that someone makes. Thanks.

Have you seen the hinged type lifts? Those look easier to use. Putting those long rafters up by yourself must have suuuuucked!

The one with 2 diodes is still actually full wave, it just uses a center tapped winding, which gives half the voltage. You should have rewired that one up to a bridge rectifier. You could have had 24V from that one alone.

These are made in China where everything is metric. So you need some metric wrenches.

Transmission you said, there is no transmission! It is not junk or garbage, you get a $40 electric chainsaw that will last for a while. Read the directions! Then use you big brain and apply some common sense. The "Knob" is not really a knob to tighten the blade, it is a decoration to cover the actually tighten bolt. THAT IS WHY THEY INCLUDE THE WRETCH! You use the wretch to tighten the blade not the decorative "knob". I still subscribed and gave you a thumbs up but I didn't get past the first 2 minutes because it sounds like you don't know what you are talking about. Don't call something garbage, that it your opinion. If you want one that is better than this buy a Stihl, or some other brand name. I respect your opinion but do not agree with it. I have four of these Portland's so when one gets too hot, or runs out of oil, or the blade gets dull, I just grab another one, and each one has more than given me my $40 worth of cutting over the last five or six years. When the chain gets dull, I buy a 3-pack of replacement chains for $15, that is $5 each. When one of them finally goes, I don't care, it is only $40! I got my money's worth out of each one of them and they are still going. I watched another video on this chainsaw and he said the chain came off the first time he used it, of course it did! The brand new chain wasn't tight enough when he started. He showed how to tighten it and it was still to loose! He did not know what he was doing, of good grief!

You need the push of gravity from the ground to be able to have the waste pulled down into the pipes. You can’t have that space in between the floor and the toilet.

There are no mistakes if you: DO NOT PAINT but stain and add other imperfections with hitting with a bike chain , I'll gouge in areas, add imperfections tell the story of how I was on vacation was driving by this 1800s church they were tearing down got permission to number each board, carefully remove, lightly sand stain and satin poly and install in my home wood that had absorbed hyms, healing and scripture for many years. Really? Dramatic pause Laugh and say no I got these free at construction site covered in concrete they were forming boards for concrete but heck of a story huh?

Topology issue. Square peg in round hole. Geometrically speaking, it mathematically "wants" to fold like that, in order to reduce that you have to cut a bunch of triangles on the sides. If you want a fine curve then you'd cut 100s of triangles in order not to notice the polygons. Of course you can get lucky and the bad topology can be ignored and maybe sometimes you get decent bowls, but it will have a bunch of non uniform stresses everywhere. That is why I assume the engineers do not use this method to make bowls, probably they use injection molding maybe. I have been experimenting with this method myself to make structured objects. But a large roadblock in my way is non uniform heating, consumer ovens do not provide uniform heating on the plastic. They are meant to bake apple pies, and make it a little bit interesting when the pie is not heated uniformly. It seems best suited to small plastic jobs not the large jobs I require. Keep me updated on ways to mitigate the non-uniform heating issues.
