people say they are slow because they cant keep up to a "race" bike but thats the point of a race bike XD its meant to be way faster than a none race bike

Have look at my channel for some 230crf trail riding and shes definitely surprised me of what the 230 can do honestly. Just a beast of bike mine has gone through mud holes, dropped in the ocean and huge hill climbs

Own one of these for about 10 years til I moved to Oregon. It really woke it up with a front sprocket, air filter, carb and exhaust. Only complaint I ever really had was the bars were far to short (width). Put some bigger bars and rode the hell out of that bike. In it's lifetime I think the only things that ever broke were minor things like brake levers, a shifter got bent once and I got a flat tire.

I share your pain. Try ceramic coating your exhaust. My last coat lasted nearly 7 years. Did you get better range with the PWK carb over the Pj?

I’m 14 and I have a 2006 crf230f and I love that bike. It goes through and up everything. It has plenty of power and will easily keep up with my friends yz250f. And overall the bike just feels awesome. I’m gonna put a pro circuit pipe and some others goodies on it

Hey Guy’s, don’t worry about the speed. One of these bikes being ridden by a skilled rider can smoke a inexperienced rider on trails. It’s 80 percent rider skill, 20 percent bike. Ride one and make the call. It’s much more fun riding a slow bike fast, than riding a fast bike slow.

These 230 bikes will climb trees, with how they perform. I have one and I’m 13 but the thing just skyrockets through tough trails

I am going to check out a 2003 crf450 and have been watching a bunch of videos but seeing how much power it is I am really second guessing myself lol I had a 98 cr250 2 stroke for 3 years it absolutely ripped and I got really good at railing berms but this looks like a whole different ballgame and heavy. Good video

How are you kickstarting without using the decompression lever. With mine it’s so hard to start unless I use the decompression lever to kick it after the compression stroke then let go of the lever and kick it over.
@h-man69622 жыл бұрын
Can you explain how to use the lever properly
@wildriderz_bw2 жыл бұрын
@@h-man6962 pull the lever and slowly turnover the engine with the kickstart till you feel the hardest point aka the compression stroke and go just past it. Let go of the lever and kick it over as hard as you can. It will start up first kick everytime once you get this down

In a field a trail 230 should be hella good tho bc the suspension is so soft, I rode my cr125 through a field and it was so bumpy, on a 150f u barely noticed it
