This video brought nostalgic but happy memories. One of the best nights’ entertainment with my late husband was at the bar at De Crillon. Absolutely fabulous❤ Never got the chance to stay overnight but I dream to enjoy this experience at least once in the near future🙏 Thanks for sharing 😇

Hello from Arizona. I always get so excited when I see another video from you. Out of curiosity, what sandals are you wearing in this video? I notice you always wear heels and never sneakers, probably because you are so tiny. We absolutely love Hotel de Crillon. It’s the only hotel in Paris that we go back to over and over. Did you happen to meet the butler named Nicolas? If not, next time you are there make sure to ask for him; he’s incredible. This gets me super excited because we are going back after Christmas, counting the days. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Lucky you, the weather is so much better in Cali than it is in AZ; sooooo boiling here.

Oh dear, I can tell we'd be partners in crime in these French patisseries! You did exactly my first thought in the bakery, which was to order a few to taste. I rarely do that, but on such an occassion with such an amazing pastry chef, not taking such an indulgence is inexcusable (I mean, you don't want to offend him, right)?? May I just say well done on bahalf of all of us here drooling on the internet! 😋🤣🤩 Another lovely vlog, thank you Alexis. Alexis, as usual - stuff of dreams, stuff of sanctuary. "Butterfly" Patisserie. Cannot get more rarefied, more apt than that. Wow, major energies under construction now for the Olympics. Wishing for the world that it's a success. Mysterious and dear Alexis-hostess, consider sharing a Japanese excursion with us, their version of aristocratic and otherworldly accomodation. I think it would be fascinating juxtaposing the west's (France) with the east's (Japan) version of aesthetics and luxury . Always align with and enjoy your captions. @@alexisluxurytravels1 Never have been to the far east, Alexis. I've *lived in Europe, Mexico City. Actually had already secured a travel visa - even ticket - to head to Japan in the late '80's while in Amsterdam, but subsequently canceled (met a dutch fella, got complicated) , so never got off the european continent. Intimate and not so intimate connections of mine have been to Hong Kong, and the thing I'm told over and over is that it's a dynamic place, not to mention - fabulous eating, great british *tailoring to take advantage of, if that your thing (Would be mine!). I'm sure the place is fascinating, looks it. Would enjoy your taking us there, if that comes up for you. Appreciate your thoughtful replies, Alexis, and I relish, truly, your sharing your physical/sense adventures with us. Very best-

Great to get a glimpse already from the pre-constructions of the Olympics! 🏟️ Having breakfast at the their courtyard seems to be really relaxing and the butterflies tea lounge cosy as well. Staying in different hotels in Paris gives you a chance to discover a new one I would go for that option this one is from Rosewood chain or am I totally wrong? Thanks 🙏 again! 😊

You should see the room they offered me a couple years ago where the marble above the bath tub has the veining matched up to a face of the devil - slit eyes, thin pointy face, pointy chin with long pointy beard and all. Talk about a match of the wrong kind hahaha!! Somebody must have thought that would be such a clever idea to scare the wits out of their guests...unless you're into seance 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks a lot Alexis for this video from Lake Como 😊! Got finally some time to watch it as a lot was going on! So nice that you flew KLM our Dutch national carrier when I fly to NL I always fly with them. Lovely tiny miniature houses aren’t they? I have as well a few ones and I believe they are a great gift. Despite the bad weather I hope you still had a great trip but I am pretty sure you will with delicious Italian food 🍕 and the lavender shop was so cute I must say thanks again Alexis and have a great week ahead! 💖
