Not a raptor, fx4 6.5ft bed. You may not have a center slip joint like I do, but otherwise it should be the same

Depends on the rules. FD is 3/16 windshield and 1/8 side and rear

I don’t recommend this for a daily. Lexan scratches easily and it’s really hard to waterproof. This is a race only car

I actually cut a fair amount of Lexan and acrylic for boats i work on. I'm sure its been mentioned here but a better way to cut it is with a small three or four inch compact circular saw like the ones used to cut trim. Its always better to use some sort of toothed blade saw rather then anything abrasive. This is still a great alternative to getting a poly windscreen and a lot easier then many people think. Nice work! Enjoy!

A 2 bolt diff cover from a Nissan Frontier or exterra will work for this swap. Two holes are better than one. And the S14 subframe in to an S13 will need the chassis to be massaged a little in some spots. Great work guys!

Very interesting video! I love lexan and think all windows should be made out of it. So I'm guessing typical windshield urethane doesn't stick to lexan?

I don’t think so, if you paint the edge like I did, the urethane will stick to the paint, but it’ll peel off the window and look like crap. If you sand it it may work, but I don’t think it will

Thanks! 440ci would be a 4.125 stroke and 4.125 bore, my 427ci is 4.00 stroke and 4.125 bore. Bigger is almost always better, but if your revving it high like this the tolerances have to be really tight for a 4.125 stroke.

I thought that was a valid point for sure. Doesn't seem upset to me, just pointing out the obvious. Many people do this, mainly with upgrades in speed performance. Hey let's race, car is stock tons of power in this mustang, failed to mention the dyno tweak, airflow and header upgrade lol. All in good fun cheers

Please tell me how did you get it to curve into the shape of the original glass? The store that you got it from doesn’t exist here, where can I buy it? Lowe’s, Home Depot etc?

I think you can get it at Lowe’s or Home Depot, but it’s a lot more expensive….maybe twice what I paid. To curve it I start bolting it down in the middle, and work my way out…it curves as you go. Remember, this is for a race car.

@@briizcustoms9543 it’s not ideal for a street car. It scratches much easier than glass, and needs to be polished every year or so. It’s also really hard to waterproof the seam. Iirc Plexiglass is just a brand of polycarbonate. Just don’t use anything that shatters ( like acrylic )

It suxs how it ended but the determination not to give up and figure out the issue, got out there, no practice and put down a run was awesome to witness. Crazy how the tires only lasted two laps 😂 but the smoke show was A1 can’t wait til the car is 100% dialed and get some more laps in

Congratulations man, exciting to hear it start, oil pressure seems low, would expect a high pressure oil pump in that motor and for it to be around 30-40psi at idle.

Thanks! Oil pressure is a bit low, I’m hoping it’s just because of the misfiring/rich conditions. It’s a dry sump oil pump that was custom made for it to have 95psi at 9000rpm. So the other explanation could be that it has a really wide pressure range and will go up through the rpm range.

Seems to be fine to me. I had a lexan windshield on my e36 too and polished it once after 3 years. Remember, these cars aren’t dailies. Track only.

My friend happen to have a rebuild kit from Moroso, but I heard they don’t sell them anymore. That’s why I put the sizes in the description. They were nothing special as far as I could tell.
