Hey, curious how much do you charge for an area that size, the prep plus the epoxy finish? Whole thing. Just to give me an idea

Hi, after mopping the floor will be wet, how much time should be given for full drying of the floor before applying the epoxy coating

Hello how are you? I’m starting an epoxy business was soon and I must say you do nice work. I have a question what type concrete repair that you use to fill cracks. I know time is money 15 mins you can’t beat that. Appreciate your feedback. Mr. Akbar

hey I hope you and yours are OK after these crazy fires. I think your promotional video is great, could have some video of some workers or you working some machines or spreading some epoxy, and THEN the finished products, like you have shown. just a little plus to the video , and show YOU talking to add the personal touch. all the best.

Just a smooth finish would of done the job as long as the shiny ports are grinded it would be just fine

Everything I've seen says that high-solids epoxy requires a rough surface to adhere to.

I was asked from a friend about going into business doing this. I see that it is a good idea around my area and im interested. Do you have any advice for me or is it a risky business. Friend has experience but im financing the ordeal. Just wanted to know the business aspect of it from what i see here. Seems like a big project. Good video though...

Just buy some used or cheaper equipment to start off with. That’s your biggest expense. It’s a pretty easy industry to get into, learning the processes is the only part you should be focusing on

Video needs to be taken off line. Grinding concrete without a respirator is dangerous to any operators health.

You mean removed from Online? Because number one “off line” isn’t a thing. Number two, saying taken offline does not make sense either.

I used a wire brush sander to smooth crack fill areas and it burned and left black marks in the cement how do I do I get that off? So that I can be sure epoxy will stick?

Indeed, I have lot of gouge marks because I want to cut time and didn’t spend time to grind even them down then outcome was quite awful

Are you sure the epoxy expanding in the joints is not a result of using water instead of solvent as final clean? Curious, nice video
@purepoxy-hawaii87862 жыл бұрын
not sure what you mean. we use a crackfiller product in the joints. after that hardens we lay down the epoxy. the epoxy doesn't get in the cracks. hope that makes sense.

With the water mopping the last step, how long do you wait for it to dry?
@purepoxy-hawaii87862 жыл бұрын
until it dries up. you do a damp mopping, not soaking wet. usually an hour or so, depending how hot it is that day.
@MotorcycleEnhancements Жыл бұрын
I heard that water may react with the epoxy coating. I've seen others use a power washer to remove impurities, then let it dry and then apply epoxy.

I just looked at your gallery. Very impressive especially the floor that looks like the ocean surf. Question: I’m in Michigan with harsh winters and lots of water and slush. In our area, most garage epoxy floors are done with paint chips to hide scratches and imperfections. Would a metallic gloss finish work in a garage?
@purepoxy-hawaii87863 жыл бұрын
A metallic gloss would work in a garage as long as you use a urethane as a top coat. We urethane all of our floors to give it that extra scratch proof resistance. Now, it's not bulletproof. You can gouge it with something sharp and heavy, so be careful.

So you filled the crack with sand, but is there a specific type? Then you pour ed a crack filler, I assume an epoxy, was it a specific type?
@purepoxy-hawaii87863 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response... It's just clean sand you can get at HomeDepot. The crackfiller is something we sell: purepoxy-hawaii.com/store-epoxy/ PP-CF Polyurea CRACK FILLER (2 gallon kit) $250.00 PP-CF is a two parts, high penetration, fast setting, hybrid polyurea for repairing and re-building damaged concrete. The product is a 1:1 ratio, easy to mix system that is 98 % solids and VOC compliant. The PP-CF can be used to set anchor bolts, repair damaged control joints, fill spalling, and rebuild vertical curbing and steps. Sand or gravel can be added to extend the volume of the material and acts as filler for repairing large spalls, holes and cracks.

I learnt white floors goes yellow and dark over a short period of time pls what is solution
@purepoxy-hawaii87863 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response.... We haven't found anything that will prevent yellowing. Possibly, you can use a Polyaspartic as a top coat, and that might work, but I'm not sure. Polyaspartic is supposed to be UV stable. The best thing is to try to get the customer to buy a 2 color floor, so you can mix the white and maybe black to have waves and stripes in it so you don't see as much white like this: instagram.com/p/CRNYnqNtFxd/
@Hi-bb5lo2 жыл бұрын
Use polyaspartic for the whole floor not just top coat. Epoxy is not uv stable. Even if the top coat is the epoxy still isn't and will yellow.

Hi, I will use PE-100 for Base on a 110ft2 floor. Do i need to 110oz of B and 220 oz of A on my mixing ?
@purepoxy-hawaii87863 жыл бұрын
If it's only 110 sqft, then you need one kit. one full kit will cover 150 sqft. 2 gallons of A and 1 gallon of B.
@purepoxy-hawaii87863 жыл бұрын
I made a mistake. one kit will cover 450 sqft. So, you need 64 oz of A and 32 oz of B
