well it's bad since you don't have 2-3cm of space under the seat to mount it simnce the sead needs to sit flush with the bike.

Do not buy. Because assistance is not good. Because the sensor... doesn't work after three months. Because if you request another recharge and sensor on the website it is always sold out.

Umm. Didn't show us the motor pushing the bike without peddling. What's the slope rating? Will this work on a 3 Wheel Trike? Didn't show us how it works on one battery. Where's the link to the website?

What this ad does not say is that non-EU customers (e.g., UK customers) will be charged import taxes, which increase the cost of the two battery version by £164.57. That’s in addition to Rubbee’s own delivery charges. Buyer beware!

This is actually not true in the USA: you are not going to be charged import taxes for goods valued less then $2,500. I just ordered the Rubbee and received it a week later in California. Free shipment with UPS international! Just took it for a spin: it goes!

@@whoajack It is an easy solution and works fine, good range and in power mode it is almost to fast. Which points to a problem with it: I like bicycling better!

I like this. Makes it easy to leave the bike in the garage and charge the device indoors away from the elements. Though what is the long term support like? Id hate to buy this and then 2 years down the line I find out that I cant get batteries because a new version is made and the original batteries are discontinued

I bet more people would consider this, if it has an 'optional' Throttle Button. My ebike kit has throttle button but I mostly use it to push me forward to start the bike. I can also use the throttle button for additional power in climbing small hills. But of course, it would be more expensive & require wiring.

Mam Rubbee z rok, może dłużej, działa świetnie, montaż jest intuicyjny. I rzeczywiście jest to przydatna rzecz, zwłaszcza na długiej rowerowej trasie.

It looks great but for 800 euros you can get an electric scooter with the same range and without the need of pedaling at all, so I am not sure who is the target customer here.

but scooter is heavy, and with the bike u can go on the pavement , anywhere, with scooter u can't use any shortcuts. and some scooters need driving licence, bike don't.

I have a Rubbee on a folding bike made by Tern. The main thing is to not have the Rubbee too steep or shallow relative to the wheel and the deat post has to be really really tight.

How about a KZfaq explanation of how to replace the sensor battery. The back of the sensor appears to be secured to the front with plastic rivets--no screw head, slotted, Phillips or Allan types.
