Hi there. Thanks so much for watching. Awesome to hear that you're enjoying the videos. We just checked the raw footage from that series to make sure of the site number. It was site number 12. It really was a great site 😊

Foreign viewers: 1.2 bar = 17.4psi. I know Down Under they still use that antiquated unit of measurement. 😊

Wupperthal is exclusive racially and on religious beliefs. However, all accept that as normal. Many mission stations operate like that. But when Afrikaners build a town on land they own privately, without government subsidy, the whole world judge them. Journalism is corrupt and immature.

Hopeful, soon, after more than two decades of medical confinement. Mobility isn't a right, but a privilege. So glad we banked many memories while young, but bad sectors can wipe some of that. So your efforts here are greatly appreciated. When we talked about beeldradio in the 1960's, and used party lines for phones, who could foretell that I could have a large TV showing you on KZfaq via a phone that never gets used for calls. 😊

You can get fire wood at Groenrevieren entrance gate - at least we got some. Awesome to see the the nice Korringkorel Bay. What a stunning place. And the bomas provide an excellent wind protection especially with the extended height and almost 360 degrees shelter.

Thanks for the info about the wood ... we didn't know we could get some there. That was one thing the guys at Hondeklipbaai gate didn't tell us. Thanks so much for watching 😊

Would you consider Van Zyl’s pass in the future? The top end of Namibia
@CrossAfricaTravel3 ай бұрын
Strongly doubt we'd ever do Van Zyl's ... you really need more than one vehicle and someone who knows serious 4x4 stuff. We'd like to drive to the pass and maybe have a bit of a walk, but to go down ourselves ... maybe not.

We have 2 nights in the park in November but will be in a chalet with a view (apparently). We did look at the cottage but thought air con may be appreciated at that time of the year.
@CrossAfricaTravel3 ай бұрын
Oh yes, an aircon is essential, especially for that time of year. Good call on booking a chalet 👍

Loved this video, relevant to us in November. Awesome drive to the Cederberg wines, can't wait to drive this. Which road was it you took? Stunning scenery ❤
@CrossAfricaTravel3 ай бұрын
We drove from Clanwilliam towards Ceres. You pass through the main road of Clanwilliam town and simply continue on past the Clanwilliam Dam where the road turns to gravel before you get a signposted left turn into the Cederberg. From there it's just one road all the way to Algeria where you can either take left at the crossroads towards the Uitkyk Pass or go right towards Citrusdal. We headed up the Uitkyk Pass into the Wilderness Area. Here you just keep following the road towards Op-Die-Berg and Ceres. All the farms including Cederberg Wines turn off this road and everything is well signposted.

Hi there. I have been watching and enjoying your travels , especially since I am an avid traveller and explorer myself...the dustier the better. When you were in Barrydale i was hoping you would swing north along the R62 towards the rest of the Klein Karoo, plenty of dust roads and quaint places, like Van Wyksdorp where I am living. No ffilling station, not an ATM to speak of, lovely restaurants and lovely folk living close to the eart, growing their own food as far a possible. Hope to see you here some time. Nannie Lehmkuhl.
@CrossAfricaTravel3 ай бұрын
Awesome, so glad you've been enjoying the channel 😃 VanWyksdorp is actually not far from our base in the Garden Route so we may just take a local roadtrip to come say hi. We so love meeting with like-minded people, especially those that watch our channel, of course 😂 You actually may just have given us an awesome idea for a mini roadtrip 😀

Wow, super excited. After a few days on the West Coast, our itinerary includes a stop over near Calvinia on our way to Augrabies. We'll travel the exact road, we've read it's long and straight, so great to see. Looks like you were doing it in the opposite direction. We'll also be in the Cederberg and look forward to that awesome gravel road. Thanks for sharing ❤
