The business model is good as it is very flexible in how you receive your payments. Whether you want commissions or a share of revenue.

You get a slice of the profits(if that is how you agree to get paid) without having any direct risk involved in the outcome of the business.

You can build a lot of experience, as you do a lot more negotiations, than you would be doing if you were buying them for yourself.

I feel like it is interesting for me to learn as it is good for someone who wants to get into acquisitions but does not have enough capital upfront .

I feel like it is a good business model as it does require little to no money upfront. And you do build the skills necessary to become a adept negotiator

Hi, I'm 21 and an Aerospace Engineering Student, and I am getting into acquisitions. I currently own an events company in london. But I am preparing to acquire a buisness in various other sectors. I've had meetings with owners of an Engineering Consultancy Firm and a Gym, so far. And I have meetings scheduled over the next 3 days with owners of an elderly clothing company. Another apparel company and 2 womans beauty company. I feel like at times I do struggle with the meetings with the client. Do you have any advice for me when going into those meetings, to help better success. My deals are predominantly through seller finance and profit sharing.

It would help if you had a "graphic" depiction of your map, including: where to find the data (Who is interested in selling their business) how do you find people who are looking to purchase a business. (Do you used internet ads, Facebook Groups, etc) In the 100 days senario you lay out, (since you have done this before and have a team of advisors) you will know the numbers regarding number of contacts required, number of phone calls, number of meetings, number of emails sent. Now, understanding that each individual is different and each vertical (niche) may have unique market variables, I am going to assume that you have data (you quoted income projections for the advisors) so you not doing this off the cuff. When time permits please advise.

Hi Moran, I’m curious about how you started building your holding company. Did you begin with a full team, or did you start small, perhaps even working from home, similar to how Apple started in a garage? I’m interested in doing acquisitions and starting an investment holding company, and I would love to hear about your initial journey and any advice you might have for someone starting out. Thanks!

A decent video for basics, however if you think a business with EBITDA of 1mil, would be acquired for 4mil, meaning a 4x Ev/EBITDA, this is crazy. The only industries you'd get close to that in maybe around the 5/6/7x range would be stuff like oil and gas, thermal coal, ect - these businesses are asset-heavy and are going out of fashion, i.e. their markets are drying up for various reasons. note that these businesses are usually huge scale operations too, at a smaller scale that ev/EBITDA tends to the higher end of each multiple range. But hey, maybe a very small business doesn't know what its worth, and no Investment bank will give advice to either side based on such low fees due to deal value.... so... just maybe... you can acquire off an ill informed seller, however I highly doubt it. Seller financing or in industry terminology a vendor loan note, is very hot for acquiring small companies, especially as the owner of a small business usually finds it harder to part with their business than a larger ones do, I think you could push for 20% potentialy on this side, especially with a more ill informed business owner. In a positive light, I think you're one of the few Channels I can see targeting fin education for small-scale PE plays and roll-ups, which is very exciting. I look forward to seeing where you take the channel in the future.

Pinochet? Slave trade? The deaths in India? Brother, whatever evil communism is responsible for- capitalism is responsible for 10x. China brought 800 million people out of extreme poverty, the soviets brought a serfdom nobody knew about to a global superpower, Allende basically saved chile. -100 million deaths communism +800 million lives saved. Meanwhile, capitalism- responsible for bringing 200 million out of poverty. Great in all- but wait! Capitalism has killed way more…. Capitalism is responsible for all fascist countries, so add 60 million deaths, then add the deaths under the slave trade and Native American genocide, thats around 130 so far- not looking so good. Now, add the colonialism of india that Britain is responsible for- adding a whopping 1.8 billion deaths to the counter! 2,130,000,000 now! Lets add the deaths in the middle east, central america, and south east asia that the us is responsible for from their countless anti communist wars. Let’s be generous and make that a low ball, adding 50 million to our current count. I’ll show some grace- and stop there. Leaving us at 2,170,000,000 deaths from capitalism. But yeah, communism is the evil one.
