I have Alpinestars TEC 7 Enduro dristar boots. The pants go in the boots. Nothing wrong with that. I rode from Argentina to Alaska wearing those. I would like to have those Rev’it boots, but can’t find my size at the moment.

I'm on day 4 of my road trip to Alaska with these boots and they are squeaking like crazy! Anyone else have the same issue?

if you don't mind me asking, I've read the comments and you said that everything is still stock, just wanted to confirm that even the tires weren't changed, cheers
@AnthonyJohАй бұрын
It's not stock as I've changed a bunch of stuff on the bike. I think the tires on this trip were the Continental TKC 70's

Those boots are not made to go with any jeans, these are touring boots and thus were made with that in mind. You need to look at sport touring boots than adv touring boots if wearing jeans over them is your priority.
@AnthonyJohАй бұрын
Good to know. I was wondering what the differences are between all the touring variations.

In between times... When you're on your motorcycle at around 80-90 mph..you tend to have 2 kind of feeling that hold on you and getting you in the middle of the time.. You looking forward you see things coming towards you or you're moving into it.. on your rearward you're moving away from your past.. These 2 kind of of feeling get you.. In between the time at the middle point. It is something you could never get from normal travelling from any other means. 💕💕

Jeans inside and pack walking shoes on top so riding pants (on outside) and boots come off, walking shoes go on and vice versa.
@AnthonyJohАй бұрын
That's a good idea. Never thought to pack an extra pair of shoes.

I have those crazy expensive boots (love them) and ride with the MSR Xplorer ADV Pant, which unzips at the bottom and easily fits over the boots. With the pant legs unzipped they have a snap which keeps them fit just right over the boot.
@AnthonyJohАй бұрын
Yeah the riding pants I have does fit over top but the jeans don't. I'm not a fan of the textile riding pants and it feels like I'm wearing ski pants but I know they do offer more protection than my riding jeans.
@morecowbell20Ай бұрын
@@AnthonyJoh Looks like you should keep your current boots/jeans combo for around town. For my money, especially long trips (Alaska, I'm talking to you...) I'll wear the more protective gear. Cheers!

hi there, May I ask you about the top box containing the camera equipment ?. Is it a motorcycle top box, or is it a hard camera case that you have fitted as a top box -if so - how is it mounted on the motorcycle ?. great videos 👍.
@AnthonyJoh3 ай бұрын
It's a camera case that I've bolted to a mountain plate that is attached to the bike. The case is a Nanuk 930 and the plate is a Touratech one.

The Swiss Alps are NOT as tall......you're higher up already when in Banff and Jasper, so the relative height isn't as tall perhaps. I still like the Canadian Rockies over the Alps.

So much of bike riding is a mixture of some planning and even more going with the flow. This is why Wyoming is so empty kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e66ipJRnrpnaeX0.htmlsi=QOzQAy87CHsq4Fd3

I am revisiting your video that I watched a year or so ago in my research of the CB 500x. Anyway, Highway 50 actually starts in West Sacramento, California. It travels passed Folsom, CA, where I live, through South Lake Tahoe, then into Carson City, Nevada. There is a sign in West Sacramento that says Highway 50 ends on the east coast (Maryland??) in 3000 miles.
