I'm new to your channel. Great trays. Thanks for sharing the video. I like the last tray the best. The colour is fine for me. I' cannot find the link to your Etsy store. :-(.

I know it was 4 years ago that you did this, but I was wondering - how many casters did you use? And where did you place them along the unit, just at the corners, or did you put some more centrally as well?
@SimplyMindy
@SimplyMindy 2 ай бұрын
It's four casters, one on each corner. Now that I've had it a while though, I'd suggest adding some construction adhesive to the caster base before screwing on or adding wood to the underside of the cube shelf for a better screw grip. Hope that makes sense!

This should work well. Just be sure to measure your grates and get the proper depth wood to fit. Enjoy your project!

How many inches is the shelf deep?
@SimplyMindy
@SimplyMindy 2 ай бұрын
The boards I used were 1x5, so about 4 1/2 inches deep. You could use a wider board for deeper shelves. Hope that helps!

On the wall was just anchors and screws, the screw head goes into the hanging hardware on the shelf. Hope that helps!

Alguien sabe cómo puedo hacer para fijarlo al braso del mueble?
@SimplyMindy
@SimplyMindy 4 ай бұрын
Podrías hacer uno que llegue hasta la parte inferior del brazo y luego sujetarlo de alguna manera por debajo. ¡Espero que eso ayude!

That's one pretty island you've made! Thank's for all the great ideas. I'm working on an island too and have been watching a lot of videos too... We've just moved in a smaller appartment since 3/4 of our kids have moved on their own recently. We love our new smaller appartment but we do really appriciate extra storage space, especially in the kitchen.

These trays are great. I actually loved all three. The Danish oil finish is very subtle and definitely brought out the wood grain.
