The new vehicle transfers are FANTASTIC. I've waited so long for a sheet from GW with squad symbols the right size for rhino top hatches. It's so cool being able to clearly mark if my rhino has a tactical squad, heavy weapon squad, assault marine squad, etc through a big white decal on the top. It's just a pity they're $60 and took so long to be released in Aus.

Argal Tal is one of my favourite characters from the heresy so far, but you’re not wrong about him being a moody wotsit. First heretic was a fantastic read imo. I haven’t long finished reading it. Read that, just finished know no fear and now I’m on to betrayer!

Oo first. Fantastic work. Have to say the marbling on the columns and stuff looks awesome. That's probably the bit I'm most unsure of when I get this guy on the paint table to be honest.

I have to ask my man, is there a reason your not using a wet pallette? It will improve your painting a lot. You can make one quite easily from household goods if you dont want to buy one.

I've only recently really learned about using a wet pallet, I usually use a bit to big paper and a smell spray bottled filled 1/10 hand soap and water to break the surface tension of the paint. It works well enough. But I will try it once I start my next project

@@thatnewhobbyhigh Ahhh mate, get yourself a wet pallette. You will never ever paint without one ever again. It keeps the paint moist, so stops it drying on your brush as quickly. Much easier to mix colours and get the correct consistency of dilution. It improved my painting hugely when I started using one. (I have a few vids of my Ultras up if you want a peek).

@@thatnewhobbyhigh see if you can find some of the Forge world Land Raider doors. They can add a bit of oomph to the model. (I've got a little vid up of a Spartan with the special Ultra doors on). Good for a Guillimanmobile!

IDK man, rolling up to an event for a narrative focused game like HH with a barely painted army seems somewhat disrespectful to my opponent. I'd want people to have a good time and part of that is giving them as immersive of a game as I can. Maybe that's just me, but stuff like this kinda irks me.

What a stunning video. Thank you dude seriosuly. It's a delight to see all those well put together armies. All of them were quite spectacular. Man, this guy underneath me. Was there a barely painted army there? Sloppy bases? I've been collecting and painting for near on 20 years, and still struggle to get the army I want on the table painted and based. A true players army is a real labour of love that takes money, time, patience and energy. volcano3493 have a word with yourself sir.

Are you mixing paint on an old GW instruction manual? Might of missed a video, but if your painting Girlyman i'm glad to hear the airline returned your figures! Love your fair play against the Sons of Horus player. If you were using dice, that's the edge of the objective at the end of the day. Guillimans legion has to win the right way!

Thumbs down. Why? Praising barely painted armies or ones with very sloppy done bases is toxic positivity territory. There were obviously some which were stunning (e.g. White Scars) but the majority was a mess.

Necromunda is amazingly fun, fast, intricate, and intriguing. Cheap too. I'll be playing some more of it this week, and I'll do some more detailed coverage once I've hit my stride with it. The foil has spoken.

My fishing rod is shattered, but I can't expect anything less as it was a TEMU rod. Cheap get you cheap. But all the minis and paints and paraphernalia came through gold.

As for this version of HH2.0...it is easily the best version of the warhammer rules I have ever played. (I have played 40k from 3rd-8th Edition). Every game is nailbiting, exciting and fun for both sides. I play regularly and have had maybe 30-35 games. Like yourself I play Ultramarines, and love the painting aspect of the game mainly whereas a lot of my opponents are much more gamers. The reaction play can be strong BUT it is also great fun and manages to keep you involved in your opponents turn. Ultramarines are a good strong army that requires you to know how they play and be organized with position and target selection....Oh this is a year old wierdly. I;m guessing you know all this by now 🙂

I still learning this game, I won't even concider my self even a moderate player untill I have 50 games under my belt, on 37 now. Let alone 50 wins. I'm still enjoying the game. And haven't slowed down. And in all honesty, eve I a year has passed and I'm still playing I'm making stupid mistakes and continuing to learn the intracys of both UM and the game itself.

Hello! Been binging your content like a mad man, really been enjoying it! The canopy for the xiphon, can you polish that up again? Did it frost up because of varnishing?

Thank you I'm glad I can entertain you in my small way, as for the canopy I used Tamiya polishing compound and a Dremel and it came up fine. I used wood glue to secure the canopy to avoid further misting.
