Kura, girl i watch you every week but this is the first time I could not let this one go by without letting you know that this was definitely for the woman that's on her journey but able to acknowledge that she's looking to find that something... Putting together a mood board to help determine your style as well as who you really are. There's such a release in gaining "self insight", if that makes sense. You are truly a friend in my head! I lived nearby Longbranch years ago, and my, my, my, how it has changed. We know that it's nowhere near the carribean 😅, especially the beach water, and that you have to pay to get on the beach before the evening time! I was there briefly for a loved one. I wanted to see what that area looked like now, and it was overrun by teens and tourists. They have cleared out a lot of land, and now they are trying to make money out there, honey!! 😂 We will be visiting Philly this weekend and visiting Chris' Jazz spot upon your recommendation. 😊 Thanks for another wonderful video! 💛

It’s a small place but if you get there at the right time with the right musician it’s a nice little vibe! Also try “South” jazz club. Love green! I have some green snakeskin ankle booties that I will be rocking this year. I live in a climate where the temperature is between 50 and 77- and sunny. I have a long olive linen dress that will pair well with by booties and a gorgeous long Merlot linen shirt to use as a layer. I love fall colors because the look great on me. Even though there are no changing colors in the leaves( just palm trees) I will wear the colors on my body. I love your content!

Sundays are my Kura day. I absolutely loved this one as I continue to find my style. I'm a gym rat, but I don't always want to look like I'm going to the gym. I think my style is a bit masculine with feminine touches here and there.

Interesting how I don’t think about certain clothing not being in style year to year. I’m a boomer and there are clothing and handbags that have “come back” from years ago. I chuckle at the handbags that we called straw bags that some think are new today. We would cut up our jeans back in the day that some spend hundreds of dollars to buy theirs already torn.

I like The Horse bag so far, I ordered the taupe color and I think its called the Clementine. I was drawn to it because it has a similar silhouette to the Loewe Puzzle. FYI it takes a while for the bag to arrive. I pre-ordered in early July and just received mine a week ago

Hi Kura!!! I absolutely love these shades of green. I wear a lot of greens in summer but not so much in winter! I can’t wait to pull out my boots and hand bags in green that i bought during Covid but haven’t worn yet! I also love burgundy! Thanks for all the ways to style it! @@simplykura You’re right it is a good neutral similar to olive/army green, surprisingly. They have a travel line and I like to look professional yet comfortable when I travel for work. I’m actually going to do a video about re-imagining three looks from Talbots catalog. I feel like they have their specific demographic they are marketing but they’re not really considered for many due to the way they style some of their pieces. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you see some they’re have a sale on pants right now too.

This video is about curating a lifestyle. Expansion of body soul and mind. Engaging in culture, the arts, elevating your taste in cuisine, etc Being able to be comfortable in any environment. I love this idea. Maybe this is why I’ve been floundering with my wardrobe at this age of my life. This is perfectly stated and perhaps more eloquently conveyed than I did in this video. Being able to be comfortable in any environment is definitely something my parents stressed in my childhood . So even now as an adult, I really find pleasure and pride in being able to fit into many rooms. YES… it almost like working backwards! Influencers ,content creators, and social media in general is telling us to buy everything! But nobody is talking about how to cultivate a style and life that is best for you! I truly think we are citizens of the fashion kingdom!😅😅😅 Just this gone week, I went(in defiance of dysmenorrhea) to town to hunt for a green printed fabric that I'd seen two days before, and here you are, talking about green. Indeed, there are just a few shades of green that I don't think suits my complexion. That long green skirt you showed as an option in the first outfit had me swooning😂😂😂. I'm absolutely smitten with the last creation is pure perfection! However, the price tag is a bit steep. But, after owning one for a bit, I discovered some amazing duplicates that deliver the same luxurious feel at a much lower cost. And, I must say, the quality of some of these alternatives is just as impressive, without the hefty price tag. It's honestly been a game changer for me..
