I'm not sure it was already a thing at the time of this video, but there is now a free Fabfilter Pro-Q3 alternative : ZL Equalizer from ZL Audio. It offers 16 bands, several filter types and stereo modes, and each band can be dynamic with adjustable threshold, attack and release. All that with a GUI as intuitive as (and obviously inspired by) Pro-Q3.

In their defense, there is genuine stupid guys like that who give a terrible image of men and do way more harm than they realize cause they act as a vocal minority for the opposite sexe that starts asking silly questions like these men obviously don't correspond to because they genuinely think most men are like that at some point. They're the ones to blame for that most of the time.

I find NI generally very user unfriendly. But it didn't take long to download the NI manager and then X-Stream, to be honest.

Love your style. It's given me some inspiration. Steinberg really scored bonus points for me with this too. If anyone is looking for this but poly (this is mono), use the Halion 7.1 spectral synth. It's the same thing as this, plus some, but without the easy gui.

It's good to make your own stuff. I've done a few keyboard repairs and I also made a table for my studio. It makes the studio more personal and being creative at anything is great for the mind

I just downloaded it and although I'm very impressed with it, I find that it's LOUD! So loud in fact that a lot of the sounds are making digital distortion. Crackly noises. I wish there was a way to turn down the volume on a global level. Turning down the channel fader doesn't do it so I'm actually turning down the level using the "amp" knob on the synth.

I’ve been struggling with emetephobia for the longest time , I am 13 years old and it has severely affected me and my life , it has affected of what I eat, when I eat , and how much I eat. Because of this I have developed ocd, I keep saying to myself that if I eat a certain thing I will throw up , or for example if I eat the right side of this sandwich I will throw up, I know it sounds crazy but it has affected me so much, I can’t explain. Because if this I have developed an eating disorder and anxiety , and have lost a lot of weight , and trying to gain weight has been so hard. I am petrified of throwing up , even if it’s someone else or me I get so nervous I really can’t explain . I really do mean that I would rather die than throw up.

I just got this keyboard from my previous home owner. I wouldn't have bought something like this for me. But since I have this now, can someone guide me on the process of learning it? Or maybe on youtube what should I be searching for? Everything I look on youtube seems for people who already know how to use it and not for beginners. P.S- All I know about music is it's spelling 😂. But willing to learn now.

Other awesome free stuff that’s great for ambient music: -Deelay by Sixth Sample (can’t suggest this one enough, great alt for Echo Boy) -Magic Dice by Baby Audio (also go ahead and get the free Pitch Drift and Magic Switch) -Spitfire LABS series -MINIMA (forget the company name but it’s like LABS) -U-HE has free synths and I think a free reverb as well -Starlight by Chaos Audio (shimmer verb)
