It did kind of did predict it though because even chatgpt with only text was science fiction in 2013 and people thought this won't be possible for many decades. Some people even thought that this technology was never going to be possible.

All the editing is done by me, I used a platform called vidiq for the thumbnail and description, although yes, some of the tools used are AI, but I don’t want the reputation of being a “fivver hired automated channel” because I put a lot of time and effort into my videos. I honestly don't know how you could get raped in VR, as you can literally move all the time without anyone being able to stop you. Like they can't grab and hold you in one spot, it just doesn't work, unless (in VRChat at least) you go into a world where there are settings to hold people or ones with collars you can put on people, but those are a small minority of worlds, and they are usually toggled off by default on join. So yeah, idk what these people were playing and doing but they must have done something very wrong then imo.

One good way to prevent your channel from blowing up is demonizing an entire group of console players lol This isn't even a non-issue because these events are A. not only isolated, but B. Every party involved can literally exit at any moment, unlike real life. This is just tarnishing to people who truly get raped.

Don't think it would even remotely count as rape in VR... if you somehow sit there and allow it to happen, no fighting back, not even turning off or taking the headset off and actually get traumatized from that I'd pity the parents having to deal with such a person... like it's not like you get actually pinned down, or feel anything, you're just plain stupid if you get "raped" in VR

@@kinnikunky People that don’t understand how VR works should stop voicing their opinion, VR isn’t even meant for children anyway… most of its content is tailored to a more mature audience and basically any VR game made for kids you will never get remotely close to being able to do anything inappropriate, basically any and all multiplayer games in VR are heavily moderated and usually don’t allow people below the age of 13 to join if it’s meant for social stuff instead of entirely for gameplay purposes, like I said this story is more than likely fake and is pure clickbait with the amount of bs they are talking, I’ve played and used VR for ages and from my experience it is entirely impossible for this to happen unless you take the steps yourself to make it happen, VR is good but it’s no where near that good for stuff like that to actually happen against your will…

It's completely harmless. It's like playing call of duty bo1 right, crazy, hard to watch things might happen but you have the option to leave if you don't like it. If you are watching a movie about assault and it disturbs you, turn it off, simple as that. Same goes for vr, literally just leave that particular lobby or quit the game OR turn off the headset. Nothing actually TRAPPED that girl in that game. There was nothing keeping her there, the whole case is stupid. If she was wearing a full on futuristic suit filled with electronics aimed to simulate feeling stuff such as being punched, then yeah, maybe being touched would be a little more disturbing but 1. idek if that tech exists and 2. if it did, no kid is affording that. I get your videos point about the concept of VR dangers but there are just no VR dangers, at least not yet. Literally just remove yourself from things you don't like when interacting with them. Problem solved mate. I suggest including your opinion and takes on the stuff you cover in videos too as it would be more interesting rather than just simply stating vr might be dangerous.

it’s not about the girl, its about the abusers lmao, if someone did that in VR world who’s to say they wouldn’t do that in the real world? tell me this, would you go and sexually assault someone in VR? Everyone seems to be blaming the victim here when really we should we pointing fingers at the people who committed this act. VR has the potential to be worse than a smartphone, but in the current state I have multiple friends with a vr headset (myself included) and it just feels like a chore to put on / something id use maybe once a week. As for the sexual acts committed inside games, I don't think there is a lot we can do as of now to even really track down whose doing it unless they are on a main account connected to information about themselves, but most people I know usually play games with votekick and such or just switch to a different world / game if something like that happened. (this is my own experiences with virtual reality and im not that social of a player so experiences can differ from person to person)

Honestly I don't think you can ever count anything done in VR as of right now as rape, you choose to sit there and let it happen, you aren't being pinned down or restrained, you can take off the headset whenever you want, you don't even feel anything from the game IRL and there isn't even any games that would allow this to happen unless you specifically downloaded a game to do that to you... even in VRChat you can just walk away... or open a menu and just leave the world and NSFW avatars are censored by default, if you get "raped" in VR it is all by choice and you have chosen for it to happen. This video is just entirely clickbait, same for the rest of the channel though, it's one of those quick paste "educational" channels most likely generated with AI along with their AI thumbnails.

the math and concepts are simply found on google as well... infact, universities will redirect you to the same free websites that you shouldve been using in the first place... the only thing good about a CS program is the degree... so you can have a higher chance of landing a job than others (AT FACE VALUE) this doesn't mean you wont get fired your first month for not knowing anything.
