Grey Prematex RTV for those. It is all I use and I have had the same deal with ARP Thread sealer (white crap). Glad to see I am not the only one that doesn't use the pipe dope. 👍

Qu3stion 4 ya have been looking a problem of missfire on a ls 5.3 cyl 1 compression low enough that me finger haven't feel the bump and all others on that bank went pop So here the passenger side number 8 cyl very low compression others on botch side 150 instead of a 190 if im not wrong stock push rod should of been ok for the sloppy stage 3 like 7.400 now the personne that built that engine went 7.5 would tha afect the 1 cyl and the 8 cyl and lower all compression but y know chamber goes open lil early 4 sur so lower compression but is the a reason 1 and 8 goes 90 psi

It will SEAL ANYTHING, but....if you have to remove it, it is as hard as concrete. You can ruin an oil pan trying to get it off of the block, so I don't recommend it for the oil pan unless it's an emergency. An option is Permatex Grey. Nice video.
@DPWPERFORMANCE6 күн бұрын
@martywilsonwilsonenginesho7940 I use it on everything. And yes, I've cursed trying to take oil pans off lol. I seal bothe sides of the gaskets and seals 😳

Yup nothing worse than a dam pan leak!! Id rather have to buy a new pan later than have a leak @DPWPERFORMANCE
@martywilsonwilsonenginesho79406 күн бұрын
@DPWPERFORMANCE I am sure that you haven't had any leaks, lol. Using it on China walls and hard material makes it a little more forgiving. In ANY EMERGENCY, it will SEAL dam near anything. I haven't tried it on turbo couplers yet, as I seem to blow them off occasionally. Maybe I should as a test at 40lbs of boost 🤔 👍 Still, nice video for the DIYers or pros!

Not much flash, you can see where Dart ground it off. There's usually a bit of core shift overlap on the front corners but could smoothed out easily
