I consider myself an independent, but I definitely lean left. I cannot stand modern day Republicans as I think they're nuts, and their policies do nothing to help the middle class... But I consider myself a common sense guy (who doesn't though right?) and Howard definitely nails it here. And this is why I will never consider myself a Democrat or leftist because they completely ignore or pretend everything that Howard is saying here does not exist, or make excuses for it... Sometimes, the truth hurts, and they chose to ignore it. Basically, the right has gone way too far right, and the left has gone way to far left.
