The new Subaru is filled with high tech gadgets and is not suitable for off road AWD anymore in my opinion. These are now cars that are a problem waiting to happen. My new 2024 Crosstrek is horrible! From the obnoxiously huge box on your windshield that should be fun to change to the idiotic 16" tablet mounted in your dash. The tablet should do well in the dust, dirt and mud. The seats stain with just a drop of water and that stupid E brake pump is sure to fail or not work correctly in the very near future. DO NOT BUY A SUBARU it's a road car not an off road AWD vehicle anymore!

After much looking for a low mile used Prime, , I drove down to Dallas TX from SE Idaho last week to buy a used '21 Prime, 22 K miles on it, for a good price. BUT....., I'd have MUCH rather made the drive up to your area and back, than down to Dallas! Former plug in Prius owner here, I am finding the Prime to be even better than the hype, and I'm still just scratching the surface of it's capabilities. I've driven nothing but Toyotas for 40 years now, and just sold my 2000 RAV4 today, with a clear conscience.
