This song encapsulates my entire first marriage. She made me feel like everything in our life that ever went wrong was all my fault. I gave and gave for years! I wasn't perfect, but I fought damn hard to be. Still wasn't enough for her. So she walked away. Walked out on a 15 year marriage. Yet here I am 5 years later with a successful career making stupid good money, I'm healthy, and most importantly I have a new life with a new family who loves me completely. And she's the same miserable person. I don't need you.... apparently, I never did.
