So I grew up watching this lady as a young adult. I was memorized by her ability as a journalist, and as a man, yes her looks. Many years went by and never saw her again on tv. I decided to google her one day and what had happened to her. I learned about her sad situation in Egypt, and as a result of that, her PTSD, and then her tragic decline. She worked in an incredibly competitive industry, she tried keeping her professional life going while battling serious emotional and mental problems, along with some substance issues, this was a lethal combination. It seems no one hired her anymore, not Faux News, not Newsnation. She was the definition of a HAS-BEEN, but in my eyes and I am sure many others, a true journalist who ran into an unfortunate situation and learned the hard way, "Life will raise you UP, and spit you DOWN" in a blink of an eye .....

Ted Turner was most certainly an accomplished man in life's challenging perspectives that dared challenge his keen business acuity and intellectual perception. Perhaps Ted Turner was the last pioneer in the pursuit of honest ethical truthful philanthropy for the well- being and betterment of humanities serious concerns.

When he fell in love w/ her, there was a scene where he couldn't sleep one night thinking of her, w/ the soundtrack of Springsteen's "At night I wake up w/ the sheets soaking wet, w/ a freight train runnin' through the middle of my head" (I'm On Fire). Whew...🔥

It's ashame that they have no respect for the history of the show and the families who were on for decades... how do you kill off the quartermaines??? A bunch of nobodies up there to mark such a huge milestone... I stopped watching for good when Jason and Kim left in 2016, they were really the last of the history of the show. Sure there's a few characters that are still on, but it doesn't work without the rest of the gang. GH was at its best in the 80/90s, and some in the 2000s when Kim came back. GH needs to take a lesson from y&r, they value history and keep the actors who have been there from the beginning the abbotts and Neumann's are essential to the show and have been since the beginning and what's even more beautiful is that the characters are mainly played by the same actors so you cannot watch for a few years tune in, and it's like no time has passed at all ❤❤❤

Sadly the daytime emmy's lost their lustre. It seems after Susan Lucci final lywon an Emmy the show was never the same. The production value was horrible. And the jibe Shemar Moore this was more a pop culture event on some rom com network. The awards are a oke. So little competition At one time there were over ten soaps and now there are like 4.
