How often do you go to Moose Pass? When I was stationed at Elmendorf in the Air Force from 2007-2010 we used to camp there and I was wondering if our camp site was still there. We buried supplies and even had a wood stove out there.

Having young kids, has anyone fallen into the door? How strong is that material? I have two boy and I can guarantee during hide and seek they're going to press into the door. Does it leave a dimple from impact?

My husband and I have decided to start our full time RV’ing within next year or two. We watch everything we can get our hands on, made spreadsheets, financials and made lists others have said is a must have. My question to you, if there is anything you could tell me about putting your sleep number into your RV, that you think I should know? I would appreciate it.
@HomewiththeHoopers Жыл бұрын
we got the sleep number RV version. It basically the same bed, but you dont need a house for delivery. we installed ourselves and did have extend the platform a bit, but it was very easy.

My wife and I are shopping around and looking at reviews, I have seen some that mention the Z Line hood is loud, have you found that to be the case? Also, the convection fan in the oven is loud, has that been your experience?
@HomewiththeHoopers Жыл бұрын
i dont think its too loud, but you can hear it. That's just my opinion - all hood vents have noise. The oven isn't overly loud, but can be heard. I don't feel like it has interfered with living life though.

Just returned from a cruise to Alaska. Had a wonderful time. My wife and I have been looking at fifth wheels to vacation in. I was wondering if it was feasible to take a 40 plus foot fifth wheel to Alaska and was searching for videos and found yours. Thanks for the video and total verification that a large fifth wheel can do it.

A true blizzard is when you have white-out conditions with near zero visibility, winds 40 mph or more, and frigid sub-zero temperatures. I would say that was a healthy snowfall though.

Is it possible to open the shower door part way without it rolling back up? I've also read reviews stating there is only one handle on the outside. Have they put one on the inside yet? Is it hard to open from the inside?
@HomewiththeHoopers3 жыл бұрын
Hey Lisa, you’re unable to open part way. As far as the inside handle goes, it doesn’t have one but it’s easy to open. I don’t think it needs on, we use full time and us as well as our 5 and 7 year old boys have no issue

So sorry you had to turn back. Given the steep down-hill grades just after the NWT sign, you made the right move. On our trip the road was closed just south of Eagle Plains for several days as the crews rebuilt the road after extremely heavy rains. Thankfully we were heading south and we just south of the closure. In muddy conditions the road is challenging & a 1ton pulling a 5th wheel is not the best configuration.
