7-27-2022 Thanks for the excellent video, I have been looking for some info how to hook up a solar panel to my EB3A, your vid was the only one I found. I can see you connected the panel's cable into the EB3A's 8mm front input port. But what you did between the panel's cable and the 8mm port is a mystery to me. I am guessing the solar panel has a female lighter connector and you just plugged in the 'car charger' cable for the EB3A into that(?) I am thinking you don't need any external 'solar controller' in use between the panel and the 8mm port(?) Love the EB3A's technology/display/USB-c 100w/ and lack of big power brick. Waiting for other Bluetti's to convert to the new features of the EB3A. Thanks!

Thanks for the review of the AC50S but I find the fan on the power station a bit noisy and really quite annoying. They should fix this.

The EB3A's fan is driving me crazy. It is rather loud, noisy and really annoying. They should have addressed this issue before they sold it.

Can't wait for mine to arrive. I plan to experiment and charge and run a load at the same time for my computer in UPS mode. Can you tell me if the UPS mode will draw solar and AC input at the same time or just AC?

A video I seen before seemed to suggest that it would prioritize solar over A/C in the context that it would reduce power in-take from A/C to giveway for what was coming on solar. So if the AC charger would normally do 260 watts, but you were getting ~100 from Solar, maybe the A/C in-take would reduce by the 100 incoming watts from solar and only charge at 160 watts, allowing the solar to reach its full potential input of that 100 watts, but still totaling to the 260 watts or so. I may be misremembering which model I saw, but it definitely was one of the smaller ones. I just got one of these delivered today and haven't put it through its paces, yet. I wanted to try out the UPS side of things and I wanted to be able to have it for emergency power should the need arise. I already got the 200max, but with this thing being as light as it is, I expect it will be a go-to for quick & small-power requirements. I will likely put it on my g/fs computer on both solar and A/C.

@@HutchinsonJC Thanks for the response. I was aware of the solar priority but wondering if in UPS Mode it won't pay attention to the solar input and only use the AC input side. Like you mine is coming in this Thursday. The unit if you think about it is really a mini full solar setup (mppt controller, lifepo4 battery, inverter). The unique thing about this model is the dual input with solar priority. The UPS mode would be a major benefit it can utilize the solar input as well rather than 100% AC only. Plan to experiment with a 200w of solar. Would like to run a computer and monitor in UPS mode with solar and AC input full time. The funny thing is that I plan to power the AC side of the EB3A with excess power from my 400W solar setup with pure sine wave inverter. I think i can spare a couple of amps.
