if you don't know who to watch- after the collision watch the center flyer- absolutely CRAZY they let her keep going after she got hit that hard! i'm so glad competitions will fully stop routines for injuries now...

what happened? i am not familiar with cheerleading, but there's so much going on with these athletes at the same time that i can't figure out what happened.

0:13 off screen a girl tears her ACL, but comes back on (right hand side), you can see she's limping and crying 0:18 two girls collide doing back handsprings (girl tumbling on the right hand side backwards hits a girl in the same lane) 0:28 girl in collision tries to base her stunt, (second group, right from center) but holds her head, walks back to the spotters to tell them something is wrong- she's helped off the mat but starts to faint at 0:37 0:28 center flyer (also in collision) does her stunt and is VISIBLY dizzy and disoriented 0:40 center flyer touches the side of her head and realizes she's bleeding 0:54 you can see center stunt group is clearly concerned for the flyer somewhere between there, one of her bases gets blood in her eyes and can't see 0:58 bottom left hand side, idk if they're coaches or parents but it looks like they're yelling 'keep going' which is... disgusting 1:20 the girl who finishes her tumbling pass is the one with blood in her eye- you can see her wipe it 1:29 on a less deadly note, a girl pulls her bow off and tosses it to the right side of the screen lol 1:38 a coach gets up and FINALLY starts to tell the girls to stop 1:59 the girl who was involved in the collision is grabbed by the hand (by a coach? mom?) and is pulled off as they stop the routine

The fact this went won for so long is insane, the judges and coaches just letting it go on is insane.

Watching this again as an adult freaks me out. These are children conditioned to “just push through”. They are encouraged to “push through” possible life altering injuries for the sake of a 2.5 minute routine as part of a recreational activity they have no or minimal chance of applying to their adult lives (in means of supporting themselves). I’m going to end up being *that* parent, because my kid is not doing *anything* with a concussion, nor will her friends or teammates. I have a vivid memory of my friend (15) being encouraged to keep her mouth shut by the coaches because we “couldn’t afford to lose her” right before competitions started. She received a SECOND due to her delayed reactions after the first, and still has a hard time with memory. No, she isn’t the exception, this kinda Bs has happened on EVERY team I’ve been on (4 across 3 programs).

This team's coaches should be so ashamed for letting this routine continue as long as it did. As soon as one teammate leaves the floor, the routine needs to stop since every person plays a role in executing stunts and pyramids safely. THREE left the floor. THREE. I don't know how you don't stop the routine seeing an athlete limp off due to obvious injury AND an athlete walk off with blood pouring from their head after a collision. Literally wtf were they thinking.

i remembered when this happened so many years ago. this team was the level 5 team at my gym and watching this from the sidelines was horrific. we looked up to all these girls so so much i just remember my teammates and i being so concerned after they got taken to the hospital. not to shade the owner of the vegas cali gym but once during a full out i got a concussion and crawled off the mat because i was blacking out, ranna (head coach of aces and owner of the gym) literally made me get up and continue doing the full out. this even happened after this jams competition, so she really has no sympathy and will make you continue the routine even if your health is at stake😂

The judges are freaking idiots they didn't even do anything about the injuries. The coaches are the ones who noticed and led them off stage omg.

Well, technically the judges can't do anything only coaches can. And respect the judges they deal with a lot crap, they can't tell the people to turn off the music only the coaches have the right to do that. Next time get your facts straight.

The fact that the music wasn't stopped after the collision is ridiculous. Cheer needs more cut & dry safety rules. That was an obvious head injury.

I agree with Emma, you obviously don't know anything about cheerleading. 1. Cheer has lots of safety rules 2. Cheerleaders are coached in a way that says if you didn't break something, you aren't going to pass out, and you aren't going to throw up, you push through and continue the routine if you can so technically, those girls all did what they were supposed to. The dj knows about cheer and saw two girls tumble into each other, which is a surprisingly common thing, and saw that they both got up so why would he make the rest of the team stop the routine if one girl runs off stage. Please learn about cheer before you make assumptions, the girls did what they were supposed to do.

Emma and Katie are the ones who aren't educated. Both girls needed 9 staples in their heads, another girl tore her ACL, and I believe a backspot was injured in this routine. If that meets your standard of "safe" to continue, both of you are fucking crazy. I would hate to do a flyover in the pyramid then realize one of my bases is missing.

A lot of people are asking about the girl holding her head after her pass and she was first pass. Her flyer was tayler and tayler was one of the girls who got hurt(point flyer) the first pass had blood in her eyes so she had to wipe her eyes. She couldn't see

it wasn't really their fault. From what i've heard, one girl wasn't here and the coaches changed the positions at the last second backstage, so they got confused of their formations.

The center flyer had a broken arm. We have no idea how good she is. She may be better than the black flyer.

+Alexis Miller two girls crashed one fainted and the boy was dragging her off, the point flyers head was majorly bleeding and shouldntve been on the mat. The girl that also walked off was totally different injury, she tore her acl.

This is terrible. These girls believe they're winning worlds and I genuinely feel bad despite how early it is this division is simply more difficult than ever and Cali Vegas obviously didn't have the best turn out at tryouts. More groups fake their 'stunts' than actually performing them, so much so you don't know whose doing what, there's girls throwing layouts, the center stunt isn't doing anything, like this is level 5 and you're the two time silver champs in this division. Step it up if you'd like to place top 3-5 at any competition that counts this year. They have a great dance though like every other year. #priorities

The reason why that stunt is not doing anything is because the flyers arm is broken. If you look close enough you can see that.

keep in consideration they not only have to place the stunts on how good the stunt group is but how each member of the group will get there. So im sure that was related to why the black girl is further back

I competed with a cast like hers on my foot, i could walk on it and my coaches let me compete my stunts and then crunch for everything else. Have you seen the flyer from cheer athletics cheetahs she competed (stunted) with broken arm (flyer)!!

I'm sorry but the black girl should be further up in the formation for stunts . Her flexibility is great and her stunt was solid n when they get all the stunts back she should be center
