Great video BUT- NEVER hammer on the anvil with hardy in place.!!!!!! Many smiths have been seriously hurt doing that.

i bought it from a small shop on Esty. I looked back for it again but it no longer exists. if you look for a place that does EDM machining then they should be able to make just about anything

it is probably around 60-120 RPM and yes it is 14 TPI

I know different markets will dictate price but is that a $10 cross? Drill a hole in the top and hang it on a walk or from the rear view mirror.

It’s a Milwaukee portaband bandsaw. I mounted it on the wall with some scraps of wood and replaced the lower guide with a large flat plate

It’s the harbour freight Bauer portaband with a plate mounted on top of the blade guide

Thanks so much for this video. I now know where I've been doing things wrong; hopefully the cross I will do tomorrow will be as successful as yours. Didn't cut that piece out of the one I made last year, and I think that will make all the difference.

I ware good safety glasses. I save those lil pieces and put them back on the anvil when I want the piece to have an antique texture.... Merry CHRISTmas
