Unfortunately, we didn't. I (Sarah) suspect that it might be a house-made coconut-pineapple sorbet but will ask on our next visit. It was very good sorbet and almost had the consistency of ice cream.

I love the GF resort and have mixed feelings about the GF Cafe...mainly due to the super slow pace. The fruit plate looks amazing! Totally interesting that y'all prefer Park Fare instead, and I am motivated to give that place a shot. Thanks!

@@katherinedeliberatefare We feel the same way! The fruit place was SO good, and that coconut-pineapple sorbet was incredibly good on it. We really did love 1900 Park Fare. Also, a bit of a long meal but there was so much going on and the chef made us so many amazing options that it definitely ranks high for us! If you get Chef Marq when you go, he is a rockstar and really went above and beyond to make sure we had safe options & a great meal. Plus those house-made GFDF chocolate muffins were SO good. 😍

Only a few of the Impossible products contain gluten. They have a current list of the ones that do not contain gluten and the ones that do on their website: faq.impossiblefoods.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024291593-Do-your-products-contain-gluten. We've had no issues with the beef or sausage products that we've had at Disney, but of course, everyone should use their comfort & judgement when consuming things. I hope this helps!

Hey! This is Brandon, and I’m sure Sarah will respond later, but I did want to say that first, both of us are sorry to hear that. I know for a fact that at least once we did order room service a little after 11:30pm, to include gluten free, and there were no issues. Again, Sarah will respond with more as she’s the one with the better memory, but we have absolutely gotten room service after 11pm. I am so sorry you had that happen, though!

I know that Brandon already responded but wanted to echo his notes. We're so sorry you had that experience. We have been able to get room service later but we will also check on our upcoming sailing. Things can definitely change, so we'll see if this is a new update to room service or if there are other important notes we can share with you all!

We're so sorry to hear that you had that experience. Things can change across ships & specific sailings depending on lots of factors, including supplies (at least based on our experience, where we might be able to get a product on one ship but not on a following sailing). We've been able to get DF ice cream in all the places we noted and will definitely report back on our upcoming sailings our experience too.

It is usually in the 70F range (sometimes cooler) in Orlando in January and the Bahamas are typically a bit warmer. I looked up the historical weather data for this sailing, and it was in the 70s & 60s in Orlando and 80F range in the Bahamas. I hope this helps!

"Jumanji flavors" is now 100% a thing! 🤣 I didn't know that the mushroom gravy was the more traditional option! Who knew?! We did find GF poutine in Vancouver that included a GFDF vegan gravy and an option for vegan cheese and even vegan bacon which was so cool! Yes, to latkes! We always enjoy the versions at Flower & Garden festival! I don't think the festival has DF sour cream but they do usually have the traditional applesauce that's GFDF and vegan with it!

We need to start a petition for this idea!!!

I (Sarah) didn't get any GF pasta on this sailing, but the ships do have GF pasta. I've gotten pasta dishes on several sailings in main dining restaurants and also in Palo too. Definitely ask your server when you sail about GF pasta options. 😊

We're glad you enjoyed it! We did lean into a lot of fried potato options, but Disney definitely has some options that are healthier. One pro tip that I (Sarah) would mention is to ask about potatoes being flash fried. When I was on a more restricted diet temporarily, I did discover that a lot of breakfast potatoes, for instance are flash fried in a fryer. They can pan fry or sometimes bake potato options if you ask. One of my fave healthier potato options that I didn't mention is at Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom. They have a red & sweet potato mix that SO good! Highly recommend. I also would say the mashed potatoes at Liberty Tree Tavern or even Topolino's Terrace, while on the rich side, are going to be a bit better options in that they are GFDF (Topolino's uses a high quality EVOO in DF version). I miss the baked potato option at Liberty Square Market that they used to offer in the Magic Kingdom. You could get a plain baked potato and top it with GFDF veggie chili from Columbia Harbour House that was one of the best hacks ever. Sadly, they got rid of this a few years ago (and the chili at CHH too). Hope this helps a bit! 😊

Yes! You definitely need to go to Tusker House! The character outfits alone are worth it! 😍

And my extra contribution is Akershus. Their pretty waffle maker does a better job with the waffle mix and the rosemary potatoes are *chef’s kiss*.

Same! Boma really is tops for breakfast imo! I do miss when you could get chakalaka at The Mara next door too for a more reasonably priced quick service breakfast. Chef Mickey's does definitely have a bit more standard breakfast fare, but the characters definitely made it super fun (plus, Brandon got French fries for breakfast, so you know that means he would rank it highly! 🤣)

Thank you! We're glad that you enjoyed it! In terms of overall, our favorites right now are the ones at Rosa Mexicano, because of the house-made mix that they're using. But, for restaurants that are owned by Disney, I would probably say Boma and Steakhouse 71 have been the most consistent in terms of cooking the waffles and additional sides/toppings that you can enjoy with them. 😍 For the most part, though, most Disney restaurants do use the same mix, so the flavor profile should be the same across WDW property.

We're glad that you enjoyed it! Oh that is a tough call. Both are great options. If you're looking for a character meal, then we would recommend breakfast. But, if you're looking for some different more unique options, we'd say dinner. Breakfast is pretty standard options. If you time dinner right, you can see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom too! Hope that helps a bit!
