So frickin funny. Complaining about leverage by being a 14 ft wall and you’re 6 ft tall. And then someone drives a Grendel forklift in the background. Lollllllll. Use the Grendel to raise your walls!

From my recent research. Alcohol based primer can cover most anything without bleed. About to try it for myself.

You gotta be shittin me! That stuff is doing what every video says cant be done. I have very light nicotine in my place. Just enough you can notice where they cut the ceiling texture into the walls. Its like 2 shades darker if that. Im on my way to find that stuff this instant.

Absolutely wrong.. I have been a professional caulker for over 40 years and it is routine to seal 1” or more wide joints with polyurethane sealant. The spray foam does nothing but contaminate the joint for the sealant. Get the proper sized backer rod and caulk the joint correctly. Problem solved. The spray foam is a VERY BAD IDEA. When done correctly you can expect 20 to 30 years water tight seal , or more. This might last 2 to 5 years if you are lucky

The polyurethane sealant is that the caulking that goes on top of the Backer Rod? and secondly once you put the caulking over the backer rod how do you shape 1/2 inch of caulking, do you use a spoon?...im in the process of filling 1/2 inch or so gaps around window and door, i understand putting in the backer rod just not sure how to shape the caulking to look nice once you put caulking over the backer rod...thanks in advance
@genecarden78010 ай бұрын
@@drewbostonian7949yes the polyurethane is the caulking. We have different sized spatulas that we use to tool the joint. I would suggest as a home owner you mask the joint first so you don’t make a mess. Carefully remove the tape immediately after you get it tooled. Sorry my response was late I just saw this😔 you can usually find small spatulas in cooking supplies or hobbie shops or artist supply try to get a flexible one ( not absolutely necessary) one slightly wider than the joint.

Brother, no way you want to die or end up a paraplegic because you were too proud and tough to wear a harness. 48 deaths in the tree climbing industry in one year and OSHA says every one of them was because the person didn’t tie off. It’s that one time you fall out of 1 million, that’s the one we are trying to avoid. Keep up the good work otherwise
