I have an AirTag in my suitcase and people around me keep pinging it, so it’s constantly making the 2nd chime even though my case is NOT MOVING! My aunt also got a notification about my AirTag even though I was next to her with my devices. Absolute nightmare, I don’t know if I would use it again 😂

I am living in Dresden (Germany). Last year I lost my brand new bike from the Keller area. Unfortunately I had no AirTag at that moment. Few days ago I got the official letter from police department that searching of the bike finished without success 😢. Wish to all of you to not face with this situation. Awesome! I am confused why you did not just take the bike home with you? Was it locked up? Or is it because the police were there and you didn’t not technically have access to the building, so they couldn’t let you take it.

Congrats. One important recommendation. Disassemble the air tag to take out the sound element, so no one even with iPhone will get the air tag. Postín the air tag inside the pipe or the tire

Do you find the compass to be accurate? I just purchased the Ultra 2 and noticed the compass on both my iPhone and watch aren’t accurate at all. Could being indoors cause such a huge difference ( almost 180°). Thanks!

You need to open the air tags and disconnect the speaker make them a silent tracker

I was wondering where this was. I lived and worked in a nice part of Stockholm (Ostermalm) for 2.5 years and my first year there, I came out of FMV and my bike was no longer there. After talking to security and police in the area, they will tell you it is the EASTERN EUROPEANS who are doing it. It happens a lot and very sophisticated. Im glad to see you caught the culprit. Sweden will always hold a place in my heart.

Yay for you! Found mine stolen in Australia after first deciding to snatch it back, but then seeing the guy on my bike and his homwless mates around, decided to be quite 'intrusive' with my repeated advances to local police giving them pings within minutes repeatedly. In the end they were great and the bije was recovered from the courtyard of a building complex they all hung out at 😊
