Hello Chris ,in this video you use a 20g. With a 10g you have more fish?
@fishwithchris0310 күн бұрын
Yeah mate, 10 gms smaller the better chances of catching fish.
@gino55yo10 күн бұрын
All right, Mr Chris. If there are some waves and wind I can still keep the 10g? Won’t that be a problem? I ask because I’m fishing this summer with my son and I want him to catch fish from the shore.
@fishwithchris0310 күн бұрын
@gino55yo thanks, usually it's better to fish in the morning as there is not much wind. If the sun goes up high, it's windy most often than not. Just use an 8 lb braid so you can cast far. Cheers

Great session mate. Interesting how the mullet went for the jig! Whenever I catch them it's usually because I snagged them with the hook when retrieving. Top stuff as always Chris 👍🐟🎣

Cheers mate, I find them taking the assist hook with a little bit of fibre, maybe thinking it is a fly. Also found some anglers doing fly fishing and Mullets dying for it. Cheers mate.

Hello Sir, I would like to fish as you accompany my son for his first outings. I’m hesitating between buying a jig casting of 10 or 20 grams? And staples size 1 or 0?
@fishwithchris03Ай бұрын
Hi, that's good. If he is just starting, try first 10g white metal jig and 6 or 8 lbs braid line so he can cast more and far
@gino55yoАй бұрын
Thanks for a quick return it’s nice. I often buy equipment and I am wrong about the sizes of fishing gear. For the size of a clip above the lure I can take what size?
@fishwithchris03Ай бұрын
I don't use clip, I only tie it straight to my leader line. Make sure you have leader line so the fish cannot bite and brake it. The clip sometimes can be seen by the fish. The leader line attached to the main line. Use braid twister knot, easy for beginners in connecting braid and leader line.
@gino55yoАй бұрын
Okay, thanks. The clip is easier for me to change metal lures. I look forward to your new videos with the micro jig. Thank you very much Mr Chris.🙋♂️💙👍
@fishwithchris03Ай бұрын
@gino55yo sure but winter now so it's hard to cast lure as it is windy and lots of weeds. Thanks for watching. I will give it a go though.
