I tried applying the trail effect to the PNG image (composition), but unfortunately, it didn't work. Is there any way to make it work, you think?

Precompose the PNG without the echo and add the echo to the composition. Make sure you tick the ‘move all attributes’ box when precomposing

How do you get the 3D tool in the left corner of your preview window? I've never seen this before.

I think you mean next to the layer? If so, then click 'Toggle switches / Modes' at the bottom the layer panel, and it should appear

@@sourcelab_ thanks for the quick reply first and foremost. No I mean the 3d movement tool. Don’t know the terminology as I’m not a native English speaker. In your composition screen, you can see it in the left corner as soon as you turn on a 3d layer.

@@Frietuurs Oh you mean the axis arrows? I'm not exactly sure how I got these up, but I know that when I go to ' 2 views' at the bottom right of the preview comp, they show up. You shouldn't actually need them for this though they're just a guide. Hope that helps!

This might be down to your layer controls being hidden. Try and go to view -> show layer controls

If there is no cinema 4D option from the highlighted pull down menu, make sure it is installed from the creative cloud app, by going to Installed apps > After Effects > Add-ons > Cinema 4D > Install. Hope that helps!

When i want to add color on the shape it says “to apply a surface material option to multiple shapes at once, select “group (empty)” from the add menu, and put desired shapes into that group. Then select new group and add the material options. Idk what is that mean can u help me?

Have you tried doing one at a time instead of multiple? Make sure the group of the shape you want to add colour to is selected, and then click add - side colour. Hope this helps

Hi! I just got this template and when i type a word longer than "global" the last character gets cut off and doesnt allign properly. is there a way to adjust the path so it can include longer words?
