The reason Deadlock is "bad" is because literally nobody realizes that she's not a flank holder or lurker, she's a space holder and an expert in punishing aggressive opponents SO next time some of y'all play Deadlock, use her trips to stall pushes, not flank covering

To answer the question in the title She is very replaceable And unlike sage she cant heal so deadlock cant even fool low rated idiots that she is decent

I'm a silver deadlock main When playing her you need to anchor a site don't leave unless if the enemy is fully committed to the other site For her walls you can use it to block site that is important to the map like ascent mid or simply block the site main and help your mid player Her trip can be use in close main or where the enemy mostly go when committing site or retaking site also keep watching the trip as it doesn't detect people close to it Her grenade It can be used as a substitute for her wall if you did not place your wall in site to force the enemy to slow down for a second and you can also spray through them when smoked Her ult Just learn how does it work in most part it will just form 45 degrees cause it only bounce once so you can make some lineup for free kill(not necessary) I can say non tracer gun is good for deadlock and she can be powerful or weak depending to how her enemy play she's a risk taker agent but when mastered she's almost compared as good as killjoy but with a skill similar to sage wall she's a high risk good reward so she's not good for pro play unless riot will buff her abilities

The sensor should be buffed. Someone recommend that while the whole area is 9mx9m, the first 3mx3m could be triggered without a sound. I think that's reasonable. IDK what to say to all the Deadlock haters, but I enjoy playing her because as a sentinel main I have missed playing a bit aggressive and she allows me for some action

Not so hot take Gekko is just a better version of Skye Let me explain First of all, the signature ability is flash for both of them, Skye has 2 controllable flashes that have a sound queue if there are enemies in the flash's area. The flashes are rechargeable taking 30 seconds to recharge 1 flash. On the other hand we have Gekko with 1 flash that also gives a sound queue if the enemy is nearby, IT ALSO shows where the enemy is shooting the blind scum to the enemy's faces. The flash can be picked up again and reused in 15 seconds. Half the time to recharge, double the information. Q ability is a dog wolf thing for Skye, nerfed to not give info while jumping, can hurt allies, isn't rechargeable, when hits the enemies stuns them AND makes 5 health points of damage. This ability requires the player to be in a vulnerable state because their agent is exposed and clueless about her surroundings while the dog is in use. On the other hand we have Gekko with his cute little wingman buddy. This little gentleman can plant the spike making your team a team of 6, defuse the bomb making your team a team of 6, can bounce off walls like Razer's boombot and when finding an enemy, stuns them and probably some others if they happen to be lined up. This doesn't deal damage but gives Gekko the freedom to follow wingman and capitalize off of the stun more freely than Skye. Wingman can also be picked up and recharged in 15 seconds so you get all the possible value for your money. C ability for Skye is a healing circle that can heal multiple teammates at once but also has a limit that isn't rechargeable. On the other hand we have Gekko with a mosh pit. Gekko's molly had the same physics as Kay/o molly and Phoenix molly. It deals only small damage while it's charging for the final blow that instakills everyone sitting in the pit. It's crazy OP on post plant and checking camping spots like vine on ascent. Finally, the ultimate. For Skye this means 3 broccoli salads that know how to fly, finding players wherever they are hiding in the map. This ultimate gives s shit ton of info and blind when it hits the enemy giving the following player an easy kill. On the other hand we have Gekko with his lady Trash. Trash is a pink fish who puts Gekko in the same position as Skye's dog but instead of stunning the enemies it makes them crippled for a few seconds making room for some very disrespectful knife kills. ALSO this ultimate can be REUSED!!! It can be picked up and takes 19 seconds to recharge. Unfortunately there are cons to this overpowered ultimate ability because it can also hit your teammates or even yourself, it also can't be carried over to the next round even If you pick her up because why would it, right? In conclusion, Gekko's abilities are very similar but Gekko's abilities can also be recharged and reused in the same round many times and the reusable ult is just OP. In conclusion, Gekko is officially just a better Skye
