I’m a 72 yr old grandma. I ran most of my adult life, quit at 55 due to life/health issues. I started running a mile a day on Thanksgiving of 2021, have now run a mile a day for over a year and will continue as long as I can. Benefits are mostly mental/emotional but I am stronger and have more toned core and legs. I go SLOW. Usually 15 min, but I’m moving!

No bear problem. Sometimes a bear comes by the driveway to see if there’s food then goes away.

Can you explain in more depth about the big 3 triangle…how it applies to shooting outside on a sunny day, or winter , or shooting at night….and how that play on the type of lens you use. im a beginner videographer\cinematographer, i understand lighting is everything and exposure, when it comes to photography, but how do you do it on the fly out when filming
@ChaseCharifa2 жыл бұрын
this is a very complicated question. You need to learn where your camera best performs. Find the lowest iso with the best dynamic range, then depending on what 60 or 24 fps, use the 180 shutter rule , lastly lower your aperture to its most wide open setting. There are times to stop down (higher aperture number) depending on the story you will tell. If you are shooting outside, you will most likely need an ND filter to control exposure, when it comes to weather or time of day, you will need to adjust you white balance depending on the mood you want to tell your story. At night, i would try to make sure you have lights or expose properly.

Do you sell your lugs at all?
@ChaseCharifa2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t thought about it. I manually grade everything. I can do a tutorial video on my workflow. Drone shots - I use film poets skygrade log to Rec 709 conversion I add distortion correct and manually adjust WB, contrast, saturation. For the Sony shots, I shoot s-log 3 and do an Arri style rec 709 conversion. I add grain and color grade each clip to make it more cinematic.
@ryanpunn2 жыл бұрын
@@ChaseCharifa that would be awesome! Do you shoot in Slog 2?
@ChaseCharifa2 жыл бұрын
@@ryanpunn SLOG 3. On the A7S iii slog3 is better. More dynamic range. I pretty much shoot slog 3 all the time. I use s-cine tone for quick turn around stuff or live streams lol.
@ryanpunn2 жыл бұрын
@@ChaseCharifa ah okay gotcha. I shoot with the a7iii would you recommend something different?
@ChaseCharifa2 жыл бұрын
@@ryanpunn Yes with A73, shoot with SLOG2 or Cine4. Its worked out for me in the past. I loved using Cine 4. Great colors, easy to grade. All you have to do is add a color wheel, lower the shadows close to zero and highlights below 100 IRE. Add about 1.25 in saturation and you are set. I always make sure i set the white balance before shooting. The A73 doesn't have much latitude post processing. Make sure you get it close in camera. I typically shoot slightly underexposed to preserve highlights and just recover shadows in post. I like the dynamic range and skill you can show when showing the whole scene.
