@Judith Faber & @Annie Becker if you want another 💡 idea, I will refer you to the Crafty Organizer on KZfaq. She uses gutters @$4 apiece for 10', cuts them and attaches them to the wall: great for storing ribbon spools and you can see what you have. Also great for small paints and spray paint. I had to find a way to store lots of flowers: I make wreaths. I turned the gutters upside down and drilled & staggered holes in them, then attached them to the wall with the spreading mounts for my screws. Now I have all my flowers and all my ribbon organized, where I can see everything and decide what I need. It's great!

Thank you for posting this idea! I have been in a ribbon nightmare wondering how to condense them into a smaller storage space. I thought about cutting cards out with my Cricut and wrapping them around but that idea was never gonna happen because it would take me days. So after endless craft room tour / organization videos I stumbled on yours and tonight I am finally working on tackling the ribbon beast! I am however putting the ribbon in vinyl envelopes by color groups.
@DesignbyMelody3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you found it!! Putting them in vinyl envelopes is a great idea too! It will keep them clean and organized looking but still easy to access. Have fun organizing!!

I make them like you do . the people complain that they had to jurk on the candy to get it.
@DesignbyMelody3 жыл бұрын
Hi Laura! They won’t be taking the candies off, they will be untwisting the end, taking the candy off, and leaving the wrapper on the wreath to keep it full as a decor item! As long as you used wrappers that are twisted at the ends then they don’t need to jerk or yank the candy at all!

I do like the zoom in on each card, but the focus seems a little off. Cute spread, it was neat seeing you pull all those different things together! I typically do 6x8 project life spreads but I’ll be moving to a 9x12 next year.

Thank you Davonna! Let me see if I can tweak the focus a bit when it’s zoomed in to see if it helps the clarity. Thank you for the feedback! I want to make sure it is good for the viewers as well, otherwise there is no point me doing the videos! Thank you again! And thank you for the compliment on my page... Thank you!! I love this floral paper so I was going to use it! Haha! The striped paper with the blue tones and the pink really bring it all together. I cut off the red stripe because I felt like it was too much of a contrast, but with the other colors included it really brought the color scheme full circle. Thank you again!

I loved your unboxing- Cocoa Daisy has been my jam for a couple of years- an explanation of the pricing and why “confusing”- they have 3 options-which affect pricing- there is a 3 month sub, a 6 month sub and an “ala carte” option (as available starting the beginning the month it ships). The thing I love about Cocoa Daisy- is you can change your subs once a month and try new things with all the options. Another nice feature- is subscribers get an option at the end of the month to order extras before kits go available to the general public, to pick up some extras for the month.
@DesignbyMelody4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the info Sharyl! The FAQs on their site list one price ($31.99) for the one month purchase and then the actual shopping page listed another price ($33.99) for the single month purchase so it was a bit confusing! I love their kits though... they are jammed packed with goodies! :) I bet you have some wonderful layouts and projects you’ve made with their kits over the years!
@d3k2p04 жыл бұрын
I would love to see Elle include something else with the kits...if she wants to keep with flat items, I think a 4x6 alpha sticker every month would be great...or even a 6x8 folded (since most of her current alphas are that style anyway). I feel like for the price, she could definitely include more...I'd be surprised if the printing of her kits cost more than $2 per kit. Not to say I'm complaining as I'm one of the people she listened to when I begged for purple and I love her shop, but she could definitely give her kits a boost to make them a more solid value. I've also won the $10 code once...it was a picture of my storage of her products at the time...not sure if I should be sad or proud to admit this, but I've more than tripled the storage that I was using at the time and am about to venture into a reorganization of my stash that will push it to about 4x the space, lol. Her stuff is some of my favorite, but I'm a slow scrapper so I can't use it fast enough. Unlike you, I don't have the discipline to quit just because I'm behind, lol. It takes all of my willpower not to max out on every single grab bag...including the kit mystery bags, in spite of me been a subscriber since the very first time subscribing became an option.
@DesignbyMelody4 жыл бұрын
Yeesss girl! The sales totally get me! I have no more storage space though, hahaha, so I had to do a hard cut on my purchasing as I use items in my stash. I am still buying at least 1 kit a month so I guess it wasn’t really a halt on purchasing! But I can’t participate in any extra sales like Elle’s Studio always does... this last one killed me! I wanted to buy so badly! But when I took almost a year off scrapbooking I still bought so now I have to catch up on my use of items a bit more before my shelves cave from the weight of all my supplies, haha! I am seeing progress though! I have a stack of about 15 backed up unused kits and so far this 1-2 months I have totally used 3 of them so that is progress! You got me with the photo you posted on Instagram though of your stamp haul from ES.... you did good!!! :)
@d3k2p04 жыл бұрын
@@DesignbyMelody I didn't do much scrapbooking for about a year either. I got really hardcore into diamond painting and that is almost all I did. Did not stop me from shopping, though. I splurge a few times a year on big purchases from good sales, but generally I shop less than 10% of how I used to so even without space for everything I don't feel all that badly about it. I need new stuff or I don't feel excited to scrapbook, lol. I agree with you on the 4x6 comment, though, that's why I only bought the 4x6 cards from the paper item grab bags.
