I love ‘three hand effect’ passages in the third movement

I dont like the pianists lack of expression and dynamics especially lack of recognition of the many appogiaturas in the second movement.

I want to add, I love the accuracy and the use of pedal just thought the use of tension and release wasn't there in the piano

Thats how I would make arrangements for my commodore 64 in the 80's . Except only 3 note poliphany. I had to be really clever. ;)

I dislike how she plays the transition at 57 seconds, her left hand is not forte enough so it doesn't really show the difference in character between the passages.

I had no idea that this work existed. I like it very much. I do not know whether it is ever performed, but definitely it should be. I also appreciate your analysis. It's very enlightening. Thanks a lot.

Pure Glazunov; relaxing, mellow, like jazz, added with pure late romantic charm. I've never heard something quite like it. It's beautiful, refreshing.

The orchestra is actually comprised of members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Sometimes a recording company would have a few more recordings to make beyond the contracted agreement. By calling it "The Columbia Symphony Orchestra" instead of the Philadelphia Orchestra, they needed to pay only the players, a smaller sum.

Of course the last two desrve all the praise, but I also really like the flavor of alternating natural and raised sevenths in the first one.
