Honestly that’s my favorite one! They go with anything🤎 The girls are nice but I feel like I like her old ones better. These girls all have the same hair and pretty much the same dress shape. Her other tapes had variety. It’s the little things lol I’m trying to be better with impulse buying as well! I bought way too much the past two years and still going through everything. I really don’t need more stationery 😅

😆 you are right! They do look like colored pencil! I kept having this nostalgic feeling while making these swatches and now I know why😂This paper was such a pain to work with, but the results were worth it! I’m definitely more of a chromashading person as well, since I prefer ef and f nibs, but these glitters are too pretty. The way they dance on a full page of writing is mesmerizing 😍

On another note, one thing that sucks is how people discredit an animals death as being just a dog with no soul, blah blah blah…to me Dolce was heaven sent at the perfect time and loyally served me and my fam till his last breath🤎

That ink is bomb proof at this point, it’s still on my covers and I don’t baby them at all! It’s TSUKINEKO brilliance in Moonlight White. It has a pearlescent finish to it and looks so good on darker tns!

That’s so tough!!! Part of me wants the Lava most just for being such an iconic pen. That signature material doesn’t exist in other pens and I imagine it would feel so nice!

@@FrenchyInFocus It is a very unique and awesome feeling pen. It's very hard to describe it, but the best, is a velvety texture. The limited editions are nice too, but the lava has the best appeal for me, as that is the one I have. I also do not like the Brooks resin HS. They are not very unique, as they are popping up everywhere. But the older LEs were unique. As to another pen, Pineider makes the Alchemist. There are 3 colors, and comes with a gold or steel nibs. But really, it's just a poser to me. LOL.

I forgot to mention, thank you for using props. It's nice to see what pens and inks you are talking about.

It really is! There are so many pens and different nibs. Even just choosing between Japenese nib vs German makes a huge difference! What pens do you currently have in your collection?

I just bought the Pilot 823 you’ve recommended and it’s a STUNNING pen! I already had the Lamy Safari and a cheaper Pilot ( can’t remember the name of it now) I can see what you mean about the Pilot 823 being a beautiful pen! It feels perfect and writes beautifully. Looks so elegant! Can I ask one question - which pen do you recommend i put next on my list, bearing in mind how high I’m starting now with the Pilot 823? Thanks ! 😍

Also, I have had a couple of instances when the 823 goes completely dry and I need to dip it in the ink bottle to get it going again - has this happened to you? I use Pilot ink for it. It’s only ever happened twice , other than those, it’s been a dream. Is it something I’ve done wrong?

@@SM-JIL That's so weird!! Do you twist your blind cap fully each time? I noticed if you twist it half way the pen will stay sealed, which is a good thing when traveling. Even if sealed, you can write with it for a long time, but you will have to unseal it after 3 pages of writing. I have the habit of just open the seal as soon as I uncap the pen. Also, you can use any ink with the Pilot, even the driest inks write so beautifully with that nib

You did!!! Oh you are gonna love it!! It’s so nice to write with and over time the nib conforms to your writing preference too. You have to let me know what you think! Once you go 823, no other pen compares ❤️

Also I have also a TN that looks like colour like yours, that’s so wonderful 😊 I also have non originals brands, just love the TN’s and I love fountains pens also!! Only have 2 from Parker, that work well. First experimented with cheap ones and then decided on a bit more expensive one (25 and 30 euros) and I bought first 1 a few years ago and a new one last week and I love it, it’s the same one but a finer nib and in matte.

@@nancydriessen594 We are so lucky, aren't we?! I feel like everyone tends to get the super dark navy blue TN, that's basically black. I adore this little blue tn so much! What do you currently hold in yours? I love how versatile this system is, it can truly be anything! And don't get me started on fountain pens, I LOVE them so much. I just bought the new TWSBI Caffe bronze a few min ago. I never tried Parker before, but I've heard so many good things!

You have a beautiful name! 🥰 I secretly wanted a dark blue one, but bought it second hand and the photos were bad so I expected that one (dark blue) too, but I got this one, I was quite disappointed at first, but now I think it's really beautiful!! I think it's so beautiful now, although I secretly want the dark blue one someday, but the store here that sells them is not close by and they are not sold much in the stores here, so unfortunately that won't be the case (at least for now). I only have a to-do list in it at the moment, but I have so many inserts (and multiple TNs) so it actually keeps changing 🤣. But I adore this blue one the most and this one is my first and the only real one from Travelers Company that I have. 💙 Never heard of it, I'm still new to the fountain pen world, but I'll stick with these 2 from Parker first. They are easily available here, or online or in stores if you look carefully! I really think Parker's writing is great, by the way, I use the black and blue ink, not the blue or the black, because it fits best with the blue TN that I have and really adore! 😍

Thank you so much for your kind and comforting words ❤️ It’s been a weird couple weeks. I know he’s gone and yet I still expect to see my boy flying by with all his energy every morning. We have another pup that still mourning his brother. He wait to his brother to return, every night by the door. It breaks my heart even more. Even though he is gone, I’m so grateful God allowed me to care for the sweetest dog I’ve ever known. He was a joy to care for! I wish they could be with us always, but death is a part of this life on Earth. Thankfully we have our hope in heaven to look forward to ☺️ As for content, I will definitely be making more faith related videos! My goal is to have each video I post from here on out to be about Jesus in some form vs regular journaling content. Even a crooked watercolor flower can and will be used to share Jesus, 😂 Slowly and with a lot of prayer I will transition this channel to be fully Christ-centered. Lord willing, this channel will become a peaceful place to rest and reflect on His word. A place to feel encouraged and reminded of His goodness and love for all of us ❤️
